Gallery: Noel Gallagher And Tom Cruise Enjoy Dinner Together In London

He famously slammed Katie Holmes for being rude, but Noel Gallagher has nothing but love for her ex-husband Tom Cruise.

The High Flying Birds frontman was seen in London with the action star enjoying dinner on Thursday night together.

The odd couple dined at Le Petit Maison before Noel headed off to join his wife Sarah MacDonald at Mert & Marcus' House of Love party for Madonna.

Writing on his blog in 2011, Gallagher detailed the awkward incident between him and Katie.

'We literally bumped into that top Scientologist Katie Holmes on the way into the studio. We came out of the lift and BANG, there she was,' Noel wrote.

'Now at this point my mate, and friend of the stars, Scully was doing a bit of filming for my website and managed to capture the moment.

'[Holmes] looked a bit miffed at the various North-West accents and some vigorous handshaking.'

He added: 'There was no need to send one of her people over to demand the video be deleted!!!! Unf***in'-believable.'

He finished: 'For the record, I F*****’ LOVE Tom Cruise(sic)'.

Tom is currently in London filming Mission Impossible 5 and was seen on Wednesday night on set.

In the film Tom is reprising his role as super-spy Ethan Hunt, whom he has portrayed for almost two decades.

Shooting on Mission: Impossible 5 resumed last week after a week-long hiatus. Entertainment Weekly reports that production was put on hold so that the ending could be rewritten.

The plot for the film, which is currently scheduled for a July 31 release in the US and the UK, remains shrouded in mystery.

Before Christmas Tom was seen shooting scenes in and around London’s Piccadilly Circus tube station and he has also been spotted filming in Austria, Monaco and Morocco.

Noel Gallagher On His Friendship With Russell Brand

Noel Gallagher has spoken fondly of his friendship with Russell Brand, who was the best man at his wedding to wife Sara in 2011.

He told The Sun “He is brilliant with my kids,” Noel says. “They absolutely love him and think he’s this big, hairy wind-up toy.Me and Sara met him years ago and he’s just mithered me since".

He added “When he told me he was thinking about getting into politics, I said, ‘You’re not back on the booze, are you?’ But he was being serious. And, no, I wouldn’t vote for him.”

Noel Gallagher Is Voting For 'A Stupid Party' Because 'Labour Are Worse Than Tories

Noel Gallagher has revealed he will be voting for a “stupid” party at the general election in May.

It’s a departure from his Labour voting ways when the 47-year-old famously backed Tony Blair in the 1997 election.

Noel, who was out with wife Sara MacDonald , tells us: “I’m not going to f****** vote in the election because they are all useless. David Cameron has no clue about what he’s talking about. Sometimes I think Labour are worse because I believed in them before in 1997.

“I’m just going to vote for someone who I have no idea about, some raving crazy party.”

Comedian Russell Brand, 39, would have been ideal if he had decided to run.

Gallery: Noel Gallagher Can't Keep His Hands Off Wife Sara At The BAFTAs

Noel Gallagher couldn't keep his hands off his wife Sara MacDonald as they graced the BAFTAs red carpet.

The former Oasis guitarist pretended to grab a cheeky handful of his wife's behind as they posed for the cameras.

It's not quite to red carpet performance we're used to, but Noel was bound to do things his own way.

The musician played up to the crowds as he joined celebs at the Royal Opera House in London's Covent Garden.

Noel was dressed in a rather casual ensemble of a khaki blazer with a white shirt and dark trousers.

Meanwhile, his gorgeous missus looked stunning in a plunging black dress with floral pattern.

She completed her look with a black and white clutch bag.

Noel Gallagher Is "Embarrassed" He Can't Drive

Noel Gallagher is "embarrassed" he can't drive.

The 47-year-old musician feels ashamed that he is yet to passing his driving test despite nearly reaching the age of 50, but also often feels relieved he doesn't have to endure the stress of being behind the wheel.

He told Q magazine: "When I was first in Oasis and they started sending limousines. I thought, 'This is the life.'

"But coming here today, sitting in the back of a car, I thought, 'How can I not drive? I am nearly 50. That's f***ing embarrassing.'

"But then something will happen on the road, and I'll think, 'Thank God I don't drive, because I would have definitely killed that bloke.' "

While Noel cannot drive to the shops himself, he is not a fan of shopping online for goods unlike his wife Sara MacDonald, because he needs to physically see and touch the products he is purchasing.

The former Oasis guitarist explained: "What does she expect me to do? Ocado? My missus uses Ocado, but I'm not having it. The whole ethos of shopping online is wrong. Maybe it's a working class thing, but you've got to hold it in your hands."

Gallery: Noel Gallagher And Kate Moss Party With Celebrity Pals

Noel Gallagher looks like he lived up to the boozy reputation of Robert Burns by partying the night away in a Banffshire hotel.

The ex-Oasis star and his Scots wife Sara MacDonald joined pal Kate Moss and a host of other A-list celebrities to celebrate the 40th birthday of former supermodel Rose Ferguson with a Burns Supper in Craigellachie on Saturday.

And yesterday morning he appeared at the doors of Craigellachie Hotel clutching a pint – after guests managed to almost wipe out the hotel’s supply of whisky the night before.

Noel Gallagher Quit Cocaine Because Of Pyramids, Aliens And The Beatles

Noel Gallagher has confessed he stopped taking cocaine in 1998 because he'd grown tired of ''talking about pyramids, aliens and The Beatles''.

Noel Gallagher stopped taking cocaine because he got ''bored'' of talking about aliens.

The 'In The Heat Of The Moment' singer has revealed that although he still smokes cigarettes and enjoys drinking alcohol, he no longer takes the Class A drug because he's ''bored'' of having bizarre conversations.

The 47-year-old rocker admits he used to spend hours ''talking about pyramids, aliens and The Beatles and who shot JFK [US President John F. Kennedy]'' at his nightly parties.

He said: ''I had exhausted every avenue of conversation. I had parties at all of my houses every night. I just assumed that is what you did. That is what is expected of you. That is why it is the greatest business in the world.''

Despite confessing to once taking cocaine in Queen Elizabeth's toilet at Downing Street, the former Oasis star claims he didn't find it difficult to kick the habit back in 1998.

Speaking on an episode of 'The Jonathan Ross Show', which is to air on Saturday (22.11.14), he explained: ''It was easy to give up. I am very disciplined and I just thought one afternoon, 'I am bored now'. And I thought, 'This is against the law.' ''

But Noel - who says he will ''never give up the cigarettes and the booze'' - insists he won't warn his three children off of drugs.

Speaking about his two sons Donovan, seven, and Sonny, four, with wife Sara MacDonald and his 14-year-old daughter Anais from his marriage to Meg Matthews, he added: ''We plan to let them find their own way in life. If they ever get too close to the edge we will pull them back.

''I would have not liked my parents to preach to me about anything about life.''

Noel Gallagher On Why He Doesn't Put "100 Percent" Effort Into His Records Or Live Shows

Noel Gallagher says he doesn't ever put "100 percent" effort into his records or live shows because he has to save some energy back.

Noel Gallagher "didn't put that much effort" into his new album.

The 47-year-old rocker recently completed his album 'Chasing Yesterday' - which comes out next March - but claims he only put about "75 percent" of his total effort into the LP because he got distracted.

He said: "This time I did the record in London, I mean crikey it's difficult to focus and make it. I didn't put that much effort into the album, I can only give it 75 percent at one time.

"People say, 'I gave it 100 percent,', and I'm always only giving it 75 percent. People ask me, 'Why do you say that?' And I say I have to keep a bit for the after show. I can't be leaving it all on stage."

The former Oasis star also revealed he and his wife Sara MacDonald's sons Donovan, seven, and Sonny, four, prefer to listen to U2 rather than his.

Speaking on 'The Christian O'Connell Breakfast Show' on Absolute Radio, the 'In the Heat of the Moment' singer explained: "Donovan and Sonny are massive U2 fans. It's a recent thing ... Donovan is a very good friend of Bono. It's a long story. But when that album came out with all the furore surrounding it, Donovan said, 'Lend me your iPod. Let me run my ears over this album.'

"And he's become a super-fan. Him and his mate Bono are having a bit of a loving across the ocean. It's fun to watch. I actually thought that I would be the one to turn him on to stuff like that but it's like he's bored of me now."

Noel Gallagher Believes Hallucinogenic Mushrooms Are Superior To Music

Noel Gallagher believes hallucinogenic mushrooms are superior to music because they provide a longer high than a three-minute pop song.

Noel Gallagher thinks taking hallucinogenic mushrooms is better than music.

The former Oasis star admits he was more interested in taking drugs as a youngster rather than becoming a rock star, especial 'magic' mushrooms that make you have weird visions.

Talking about the suburb of Burnage in Manchester where he was raised, he explained: ''Where I come from, it's not musical at all, although Manchester is, obviously.

''I don't say it to be cool, but we were more into taking drugs and banging around in the park [than listening to music]. Music's great and all that, but it's not as good as mushrooms.''

The 47-year-old musician - who will release his second solo album, 'Chasing Yesterday', on March 2, 2015 - added: ''Pop songs are three minutes long. You get a good six hours out of mushrooms.''

Noel also spoke about his performance with former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr last month at The O2 Brixton Academy, London, admitting that he was suffering on stage after having consumed too much alcohol the previous evening.

Speaking at the 'XFM presents An Evening In Conversation With Noel Gallagher' event, he confessed: ''I don't think I've ever been so f***ing hungover on stage in all my life.

''I was getting a back rub from his wife about two minutes before going on. If somebody had come up to me and said 'You don't have to do this' I would have been, like, 'F***ing, yes.'

''It was my wife's birthday the night before and we'd smashed the arse out of it.''

Noel Gallagher And His Wife Sara Enjoy A Romantic Stroll In Paris

He's more likely to be found celebrating a Manchester City win than enjoying a romantic stroll in Paris, however Noel Gallagher showed a different side to his personality on Saturday.

The former Oasis singer looked quite content as he walked hand-in-hand with his wife Sara McDonald during a break in the French capital.

The 46-year-old took in the city's Avenue Montaigne before heading for a spot of lunch with Sara, whose legs looked endless in her flared jeans.

He also opted for matching trainers and a white shirt, while keeping his silver aviator sunglasses firmly on.

Publicist Sara teamed her bell-bottoms with a loose-fitting beige blouse while boosting her height with a pair of heeled tan boots.

She left her two-tone hair down while also wearing a brown pair of sunglasses, and carrying a small designer shoulder bag.

Noel was enjoying a much more relaxed day following his earlier visit to his football club last week, when he saw the team crowned Premier League champions for the second time in three years.

Also in attendance was his brother and former bandmate Liam, 41, however they arrived separately, showing that fans perhaps shouldn’t expect any reconciliation soon.

Noel Gallagher Says David Beckham Should Take Up Songwriting When He Retires

Noel Gallagher has said that David Beckham should take up songwriting now that he has retired from football.

The former England and Manchester United player confirmed that he will stop playing football at the end of this season having rejected a chance to continue playing with Paris St Germain into 2014. Speaking to ITV News about Beckham's next career move while at the Ivor Novello Awards yesterday (May 16), Gallagher said: "Songwriting".

He added: "He's had a great career and played for some of the most iconic clubs in world football. He could probably go into management one day, as long as it's not (Manchester) City."

The former Oasis member also said he "hated" Beckham when he played for United, but has since become friends with the sportsman. "I hated him when he played for United. Hated him. Hate. Proper hate. But luckily I met him when he'd left United and he's such a nice lad and he's a brilliant footballer."

Noel Gallagher, The Maccabees and Alt-J all picked up major awards at this year's Ivor Novellos in London with Gallagher collecting the award for Outstanding Song Collection, which was presented to him by Kinks singer Ray Davies. The former Oasis member thanked "my publishers, who I've only just met after 20 years – Sony, apparently," to guffaws of laughter from the industry audience. He dedicated the award to his wife, who, he said, once told him she'd never seen him write any songs. "This is proof that I do," he said.

Noel Gallagher Gets All The Attention From The Ladies At Post-Brits Party

Of all the hot guys that attended the Sony Music post-Brits party (Harry Styles, Labrinth, Liam Payne and Louis Smith to name a few) we never expected Noel Gallagher to be the one who got all the attention from the ladies.

But attention from the ladies he got, as these pictures prove! Lily Allen couldn’t wait to give the High Flying Birds star a kiss on the red carpet at the party, and DJ Jo Whiley was also keen to get in on the action.

We can’t decide if it’s Noel’s music talent they’re after, or his incredibly-sized cranium.

Noel attended the party – hosted by Sony Music for the music stars on its label – with his wife Sara McDonald, who managed to grab her hubby for at least one picture. We'd like to think she was showing Lily and Jo who's boss!

Oasis Were Unknowns ... Then They Played At T And Went Supersonic

It's the 20th anniversary of T In The Park this year — and to celebrate, festival boss Geoff Ellis is lifting the lid on what happens behind the scenes at Scotland’s biggest music festival.

I’ve been on 19 emotional rollercoasters with T In The Park and I suspect this year will be no different.

There have been so many stand-out moments that I will remember forever.

A couple of those were provided by one of our greatest supporters — Noel Gallagher.

Along with Liam, he played the first year in ’94 when we booked a not-so-well known OASIS.

After finalising the bill, I got an angry fax from the agent for S*M*A*S*H, an NME buzz band.

I’d put Oasis above them in the running order as well as the Glasgow band ONE DOVE.
The fax said: “I know One Dove mean something up there but Oasis? Come on, who are they?”

If only he’d known.

Oasis actually broke down on the way to Strathclyde Park. But there was no stopping them after that.

T In The Park was the only festival they played as non- headliners because Oasis went mega almost immediately, topping bills and filling stadia.

I see Noel at Manchester City games — we’re both diehards — and I know his wife Sara MacDonald. She used to work for one of the sponsors at T.

One year I saw the two of them walking down towards the NME Stage when it used to be in the tent.

I pulled up in the car and asked if they wanted a lift as it was pelting.

They were heading down to see Paul Weller. So I’m standing there at the side of the stage watching the Modfather and out of the blue, Weller introduces Noel.

I turned down my radio so there were no distractions and listened to the two of them play Jam numbers acoustically.

I had absolutely no idea they were going to do that and it was one of the best ever T moments.

Obviously Noel and Weller had arranged it but if I hadn’t given him that lift, it might not have happened.

You’re welcome lads.

It was great to have Noel back at T last year. I decorated his dressing room with inflatable palm trees.

He arrived, turned to me and said: “What the f*** are these for?” By now they’d all partly deflated and looked a sorry sight.

The last time I’d seen him was at the Coachella festival in the States. I told him that if he did T we’d have a better atmosphere than Palm Springs — but without the palm trees. I explained and he just kind of looked at the blow-ups and nodded at me. Clang.

It had seemed an hilarious idea at the time but it wasn’t my coolest moment.

I try to look after the stars at T and I made sure Noel got anything he asked for that year. I wanted a crack at booking Oasis to headline.

So I wouldn’t say my help isn’t honest but there’s always an angle.

Noel Gallagher: I’ll Get Into Heaven Because God’s An Oasis Fan

Noel Gallagher has faith he will end up in Heaven — because he believes God loves Oasis.

The rocker has already written his Pearly Gates speech to persuade St Peter to overlook the catalogue of sex, drugs and rock ’n’ roll sins he’s racked up.

Dad-of-three Noel, 45, said: “I’d say, ‘You’ve heard Don’t Look Back In Anger?’, and they’d say, ‘Of course’. I’d say, ‘Look it’s me, let us in. I can play you a tune. I robbed some stuff, I took a lot of drugs, but I’m all right’.”

But Noel could face some awkward questions at Heaven’s gate. He once echoed John Lennon’s “Beatles are more important than Christ” claim by saying Oasis were bigger than God.

When he picked up the Godlike Genius gong at last year’s NME awards he said: “I accept I am a genius, just like God.”

And when asked about the lyrics to 1997 hit D’You Know What I Mean? — which include “I met my maker, and I made him cry” — Noel said: “On Judgement Day, if there ever is one, I’ll have a few things to say to Him.”

But Noel believes his “real-life angel” missus Sara McDonald, 40, will be straight in.

The High Flying Birds frontman added: “She’s not a heavenly body.

"I can touch her and I do regularly and it’s great — for me, not for her.”
