I have emailed the NME today about why the Oasis track 'Morning Glory' was not played on the first song played on radio this morning.
I have yet to receive a reply from them
voting stopped at 5PM yesterday.
The sceenprint I did on the live vote at 5:04PM yesterday after voting had finished for the site clearly showed Oasis winning by a huge amount.

If I get a response from them, I will post it here.
It's because they had already done the interview with the singer from the band.
Oasis won it

I like Muse but it did say voting finished at 5pm and Oasis were winning it from Sunday onwards.
Oasis were number one until 2am on Tuesday, voting finished at 5pm.
It said so on the website, when it was originaly posetd.........
NME is the new BBC
Call ofcom or something
Typical NME
Where does it say voting would finish at 5pm?
They took that line out of the article it originally appeared in shortly after it was posted.
Maybe you should have paid more attention :P
But where did it actually say that voting closed at 5pm? I never found an official statement of that, it's just what people were saying

Click there and check the top 1, click into it and it has gone they are trying to cover there tracks.
Google search the article and it says on loads of Oasis, Muse, Radiohead sites that it finishes at 5.
I'm a Muse fan, but this is a new low from a once fine magazine.
It's still on MSN's nme page
