Noel Gallagher will be a guest of Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1 on Thursday 5th of January.

Oasis' classic debut album 'Definitely Maybe' was featured tonight on UK Radio 1 as part of Zane Lowe's 'Masterpieces' series. The programme featured interviews with Noel and Liam Gallagher recorded especially for the show.

'Definitely Maybe' was released on 30th August 1994 on Creation Records and debuted at number 1 in the album charts. On release it became the UK's fastest-selling debut album and featured classics such as 'Rock 'n' Roll Star', 'Live Forever', 'Supersonic', 'Cigarettes & Alcohol' and 'Slide Away', all of which became live favourites throughout the band's career.

In 2004 Big Brother Recordings released a DVD documentary to mark the 10th anniversary of the release.

Rod Stewart Gets Liam Gallagher ‘Pumped Up’

Beady Eye frontman and former Oasis star Liam Gallagher has told the BBC that he likes to listen to Rod Stewart’s 1978 song “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?” to get himself “pumped up” before a gig.

Gallagher told BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe that the Rod classic was his song of choice before Beady Eye’s show at Liverpool Guild of Students this week.

When the Radio 1 presenter remarked that one of Beady Eye’s crew had requested a different song, Gallagher said: “Someone in our camp needs to get a sense of humor.”

It's not been confirmed yet, but I have seen several reports that Liam Gallagher and Gem Archer will be on 'Zane Lowe's Breakfast Show' on BBC Radio One this Friday morning (January 7).

The show is broadcast between 7am and 10am (UK), Zane will also play Beady Eye's official debut single 'The Roller' during the show.
