So… Manchester last night? It was great. Thanks for coming. The thing that fuckin' annoys me though is these "celebrity" Man United fans. 3 of 'em - who shall remain nameless - blew me out last night. All last week they were "Bang up for it", the "Couldn't wait to see me", and all that bollocks. Then one of them mysteriously developed "food poisoning", another one had "forgot" it was "half term" - whatever that means - and just to add insult to injury the last, and probably most famous of all the dirty reds sez, "Something's come up and I have to deal with it" …SOMETHING'S COME UP? What… like a little bit of sick that's been in there since Sunday? Tut, tut lads.
Anyway, am currently sat on the tarmac - not ACTUALLY sat on the tarmac - at Manchester airport on our way to Edinburgh.
Fuckin' flight's been delayed once now already. We've been just SAT here for the last 30 minutes! What a fuckin' liberty.
And it's pissing down. And the plane's got propellers!!
IN A BIT.
GD.

Celebrity couple Liam Gallagher and Nicole Appleton can't agree on what music their young son Gene should be listening to - because mum fears he's force fed The Beatles and dad can't stand Kiss.
In the pair's first joint TV interview in Canada's George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight show, Gallagher revealed his wife has "a funny taste in music", while she confessed she's tired of hearing nothing but the Fab Four.
She says, "As much as I love the Beatles, that's all he plays... I love a lot of old rock music like The Scorpions and Loverboy... and Kiss."
And the former Oasis frontman is not a fan of Gene Simmons' rock act, explaining, "I'm sure they're a big band and that, but guys in make-up don't do it for me - and guys that are very tall, a lot taller than me, in make-up certainly don't do it for me."
And music isn't the only thing that the couple disagree on - Appleton admits her young son's love of drumming drives her crazy.
Gallagher has bought little Gene his own kit and admits he often opts for "the peace and quiet" on the road, touring with new band Beady Eye, because he can get away from his boy and his hobby.
But Appleton adds, "He's good, but it drives me mad."
Liam Gallagher's wife Nicole Appleton understands the ongoing feud between the rocker and his estranged brother Noel - because she has had bitter battles with her sister and former All Saints bandmate Natalie.
Appleton insists she has never witnessed any fights between the warring Gallaghers, who haven't spoken since guitarist Noel quit their band Oasis in 2009, but Liam has seen the sisters quarrel.
In her first joint interview with her husband on Canadian TV show George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight, Appleton says, "I've never really witnessed anything between Liam and Noel... maybe phone arguments... but he has witnessed Nat and I fight."
She is also convinced touring puts extra pressure on sibling relationships, adding, "The pressure of everything builds up. It's never anything serious that you fight over... These wars get built up over nothing.
Noel Gallagher continued his UK tour with a sold-out show homecomig show at Manchester Apollo last night.
The singer thrilled fans with a hit-laden set of tracks from his debut solo album 'Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds' as well as a number of Oasis tracks.
Gallagher performed latest single 'AKA...What A Life' and debut single The Death Of You And Me'.
Oasis tracks included 'Wonderwall', 'Supersonic', 'Talk Tonight' and 'Half The World Away'.
Noel Gallagher's UK tour continues tonight in Edinburgh's Usher Hall. You can see pictures from the gig here.
Coldplay are set to go straight to the top of the UK album chart with their new album 'Mylo Xyloto' on Sunday (October 30).
The band, who have already recorded sales of over 122,000 of their new album, look set to comfortably oust last week's Number One 'Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds', which falls to Number Two.
Noel Gallagher wanted to take ''a decade'' off from music after Oasis' Knebworth gigs in 1996.
Noel Gallagher wishes he'd taken "a decade" off after Oasis' Knebworth shows.
The guitarist believes the quality of his former group's work suffered because his brother, frontman Liam, always wanted them to work on new material, whereas he would have been happy to take a lengthy break after the 1996 concerts.
He said: "In that period, 97 to 2000, I could have done with a lot of time off, but Liam, to his credit, always pushed us back into the studio.
"I'd have had a decade off after Knebworth and gone 'Well that's enough for me, need to go on holiday and I'll see you in 10 years'.
"There was some good songs but not really great albums, you know what I mean, but its all part of the story I guess."
Noel - whose debut solo LP 'Noel Gallagher's High-lying Birds' topped the chart on Sunday (23.10.11) - admits he felt pressured to live up to the success of Oasis' first two albums, 'Definitely Maybe' and '(What's The Story) Morning Glory'.
He added to Absolute Radio: "With the first two albums, I wrote those before we had a record and then after the success of 'Morning Glory' I had to write an album as the guy that wrote those two albums, and I found that very difficult because I wanted to party.
"I wrote that album while I was on holiday, and I'll put it to you like this, I had a great holiday. And then I came back, and I played these demos that I did and everybody went, 'They're amazing'.
"But for a few years I found I couldn't find the inspiration, but now I'm kind of cool with it."
Noel Gallagher made a triumphant return to Manchester last night for the first time since Oasis split.
The songwriter and guitarist immediately divided the sell-out audience as he swayed onto the stage to the Manchester City anthem Blue Moon.
His outing at the Apollo was the first gig on home soil for the Burnage-raised star’s new outfit Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.
They were formed in the wreckage of Oasis, who split amid rumours of tossed guitars and hurled fruit in 2009.
Brother Liam has already toured with his new band Beady Eye (Oasis without Noel) – playing the same venue in March.
Outside the Ardwick venue, touts were asking for up to £250 for spare tickets, but there were few takers.
With more than a hint of irony, Noel kicked things off with Oasis track It’s Good To Be Free. New song Mucky Fingers was lapped up by an energetic crowd.
Although the band’s eponymous album was released only two weeks ago, the audience seemed to know every word to the anthemic Everybody’s On The Run.
But the showstopper was a haunting acoustic version of Oasis favourite Wonderwall, backed by just a piano.
It was immediately followed by an equally low-fi Supersonic, the crowd almost drowning out the lyrics with chants of ‘Noel, Noel’ echoing through the venue.
The singer replied by asking: “You all got your Stone Roses tickets then?”
The Apollo gig was intended as a warm-up for a host of UK arena dates, giving a lucky few the chance to see their hero in relatively small surroundings.
When Noel heads home again, on February 13, it will be in front of thousands more at the M.E.N. Arena.
Based on this performance he won’t have many looking back in anger.
