It feels strange talking about Oasis in the present tense, but there we were, now here we are!
The history of Oasis has been well told, but this is the place where the present and future of the world’s greatest band will reveal itself. Stop Crying Your Heart Out is now 20 years old. For 7,300 days, the site has been the authority on all things Oasis prior to the end of their first break up, and all through the decade and a half of ‘the solo years’.
Fans all around the world are discovering the band for the first time, from the group’s record-breaking debut Definitely Maybe (1994), to its quick successor (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? (1995), and the band’s incredibly prolific career following. Despite the gold records, number ones and era defining songs, it was the band’s personality, and relationship between Noel and Liam Gallagher that kept the tabloids and fans enthralled.
The constant friction that produced such incredible songs and live shows would eventually bring the demise of the group in 2009. The debate over whether that was just a rest, or a finale would last 15 years, during which time Stop Crying Your Heart Out kept fans up to date with every development.
At the end of the summer of 2024, just as this site was about to celebrate its 20th birthday, the band announced finally, they would return. Sell out shows across the globe followed, along with rumours of line up changes and new music, all the gossip music fans around the world have been tuning into this website to hear!
