"It takes more than wheeling out your old mate uri geller and har mar superstar to make a so called out there record"
Liam Gallagher has seemingly hit out at his brother Noel Gallagher once more, slating his ‘psychedelic music’ and branding him a ‘snoozer’.
Taking to Twitter this evening (September 24), Liam slammed “beige drip” Noel, referring to his “psychedelic music” as “like a vegetarian trying to sell you a kebab.”
Information on Noel Gallagher’s new album is rumoured to be emerging tomorrow, prompting many fans to attribute Liam’s latest tweet storm as another jab at his brother’s solo work.
The full tweet reads: “Psychedelic music by a beige drip is like a vegetarian trying to sell you a kebab as you were LG x”
He then continued: “It takes more than wheeling out your old mate uri geller and har mar superstar to make a so called out there record snoozer as you were LG”, with Uri Geller and Har Mar Superstar supposedly referencing Paul Weller and Johnny Marr respectively. Noel has previously collaborated with both artists, performing on stage with them last September.
Noel Gallagher was reported to be working on an album of psychedelia back in 2014, with Amorphous Androgynous. It was later scrapped, with Noel telling NME that the record “will never see the light of day”.
Earlier this week, Liam claimed he didn’t write tweets criticising brother Noel‘s Manchester Arena reopening performance, claiming that “someone hacked my Twitter account”.
Liam went on to reiterate: “Someone hacked into it and tweeted them for me. I wouldn’t do that stuff. The police are looking into it now as we speak.”

Liam Gallagher has denied lashing out at brother Noel on Twitter regarding the latter's Manchester Arena charity gig.
Noel was headlining a benefit concert at the re-opening of the venue following the attack earlier this year, when tweets were posted from Liam's account that said Noel's tears weren't genuine and it was a "PR stunt".
In an interview with Newsweek, Liam said those tweets didn't actually come from him, and were the result of someone breaking into his account.
"Oh, that wasn't me," he said. "Someone hacked my Twitter account.
"Yeah, I wouldn't do that. I wouldn't say stuff like that. Can you believe that? Someone hacked into it and tweeted them for me.
"I wouldn't do that stuff. The police are looking into it now as we speak."

"Little By Little" is a song by British rock band Oasis, first released as the sixth track on their fifth studio album Heathen Chemistry. On September 23rd 2002, it was released with "She Is Love" as the first (and, so far, only) double A-sided single by the band, peaking at #2 in the UK Singles Chart Noel Gallagher provides lead vocals on both tracks, which he also wrote.
"Little By Little" was perhaps the most controversial song on the album, receiving mixed reviews from those who felt it was a classic example of an upbeat Oasis anthem and those who felt it was a twee, patronising, sycophantic melody. Regardless of this, the song managed to peak at number two in the UK charts based largely on the publicity garnered by the song.

The promo video to the song featured a guest role by Robert Carlyle. The cover art for the single is an homage to Robert Indiana's LOVE artwork.

"She Is Love" is a song by British rock band Oasis, first released as the ninth track on their fifth studio album Heathen Chemistry. In September 2002, it was released with "Little by Little" as the first double A-sided single by the band, peaking at #2 in the UK Singles Chart. The song was written about Noel Gallagher's girlfriend Sara McDonald and is a light, acoustic song about being in love.
Gallagher claims it was written in the Buckingham Gate Hotel in London, and that it took 30 minutes to complete. The band commissioned British fashion art director Rachel Thomas to make a promo video for the song. However, the resulting film, a mix of animation and live action, has never been released on any format.

Skepta
It looks like Liam Gallagher could be joined by Skepta when the former Oasis frontman goes on tour later this year.
The rock and roll star appeared to ask the grime artist on Twitter if he would join him for a "natural mystic tune".
Skepta replied "of course" warning the pair are "not something to be taken lightly".
Recently Liam said the gigs - which kick off on December 3rd - will be all about the music.

As You were
07/10
Business as usual without big brother.
Supposedly taking it's title from his oft-used Twitter post sign off, Gallagher's solo debut's meaning is arguably twofold, the contents never veering far from the by-the-book Beady Eye generic rock template. Solidly crafted but with few surprises, there's a smidgen more of a punch to the multi-tracked harmonies of 'Paper Crown' (erstwhile Oasis buddy Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs on bass), and 'You Better Run' benefits from a hobnail-booted-glam rock stomp.
The voice is, as always, heavy on sneering lennon-isms ("Happiness is still A warm gun," he suggests on the state-of-the-nation "Chinatown"), although the lasting impression is of John Singing Julian's songs.
