A concertgoer has reportedly been left scarred for life after a flare thrown during Liam Gallagher’s gig at Sheffield’s FlyDSA Arena set her clothes alight.
The victim’s brother has appealed for help to catch those responsible, who he claimed ‘could have taken my sister away from me and my family’.
In a Facebook post Leon Andrew wrote: “Anyone who has information on the scumbag who decided to light a flare and throw it into the crowd and set my sister on fire I want his name or information on him because he needs to pay for what he has done. You could have taken my sister away from me and my family tonight.”
In a later post, he described how the flare hit his sister and ‘seriously burnt her body and set fire to her clothes’.
He added: “I want justice for the pain they have caused my sister because she will now have scars for the rest of her life.”
South Yorkshire Police is investigating the incident.

Below are some quotes from Noel Gallagher's Interview with Zane Lowe on Beats 1 that was broadcast yesterday.
Noel on climate change...
"Well, I don't drive, so I'm part of the solution [for climate change]. I still don't drive. I take public transport, obviously not when I'm here, but when I'm in London, I'm always on the tube and the trains. So I'm part of the solution. So when I'm fucking giving it to a load of snowflakes about climate change. I'm like, I'm the fucking real deal here because I know."
Noel on learning to drive...
"I've had one driving lesson and school was just coming out. I think it's like four in the afternoon ... Chaos. I was in a red Nissan Micra with a huge white triangle on the top of it with a big L plate and the four point turn we turned into like a 12 point turn with loads of kids going 'woo'.
"I'm not sure they surrounded the car. Well, there was a lot of pointing and I mean, thank God there was no mobile phones then with cameras, so there's no evidence of it. And then I drove back to my house and it was just like, that's it. I'm done. I'm not arsed."
On taking Yorkshire Tea on tour with him when he's playing outside the UK...
"It's got to be Yorkshire Tea bags, not too much milk, one heaped spoon of sugar. Leave the teabag in for 90 seconds, sit back, enjoy ... When I get my bags turned out at customs wherever I'm going, I've always got a big bag of tea bags. And I remember coming into America once, and the guy saying, 'What are these?' And I said, 'Well, they're tea bags.' He said, 'We don't have tea bags here?' And I was like, 'Not Yorkshire Tea, mate. Not the ones I want.' "

Noel Gallagher has revealed that he’d be up for becoming a guitarist in The Smiths if they were to ever reunite.
In an nterview with Zane Lowe on Beats 1 he revealed that he’s keen on taking the background as a guitarist once more, and said The Smiths would provide the perfect place to do so.
“I would love to be in a band and just be a guitarist for a while. Not that band [Oasis], but sometimes when I sit in with Weller I just think ‘thank god for that’.”
When asked which band he would “jump at” to join, Noel revealed that the ‘Panic’ band – comprised of Morrissey, Johnny Marr, Mike Joyce, Andy Rourke and later Craig Gannon – would be the ideal choice.
“I would love, and it’s never gonna happen, it’s a thing in a parallel universe, if The Smiths got back together. I’m Craig Gannon and I’d go to Johnny [Marr] and say don’t get another guitarist mate – I’m your man.”

Noel Gallagher has told The Big Issue has said he got himself an Irish passport immediately after the vote for Brexit.
He said “I applied immediately after the vote.
“I got it to make my life easier touring around Europe. But I’d always planned on getting one at some point.
“Could I see myself living in Ireland one day? Maybe. I’ll live f***ing anywhere really.
“But I’ve got no plans to leave the country, we’ve only just moved out to Hampshire.”
Mayo County Council proposed a civic honour for Noel and brother Liam ten years ago because their Mum Peggy is from Charlestown and they would holiday there as kids.

For Noel’s full and unabridged take on Boris, Brexit and an Oasis reunion, pick up a copy from your local vendor or buy it from the Big Issue Shop.
On an Oasis reunion...
“Well it could [happen]. Of course it could,” Noel told us. “But there would have to be an extraordinary set of circumstances… I left the band 10 years ago. I think I’ve seen him twice in 10 years and both times we nearly ended up in a fight for no reason. I can’t envisage the morning I wake up and think I’d like to spend two years on the road, arguing all around the world with Liam.”
On his family...
“I just wish he’d fucking calm down with insulting my family. There’s a lot of misogyny towards both my wife and daughter on the internet from his fans. And [it’s because] he likes to purport this myth that Oasis would be getting back together but my wife won’t let me.”
On Liam's solo success...
“It’s made him pull his finger out and work for a living at last. He’s selling more records and way more tickets than me so good luck to him, ride it until the wheels come off.”
On Brexit...
“It’s going to be fascinating to see how it works,” said Noel. “I mean, they talk about a border down the middle of the Irish Sea. How is that going to work? Is there going to be a little bloke sitting in a fucking rowing boat? I don’t think we should be leaving but now we’ve had the vote I think we have to leave. Because you have to let democracy take its course.”
On Tony Blair...
“I was out about two months ago and I happened to bump into Tony Blair in the foyer of a hotel. And I said: ‘I bet you’re glad you’re out of it now, aren’t you, mate?’ And he said: ‘Actually I’m not, I wish I was fucking back in it because it is fucked.’ Still to me he’s the only person when I hear him talking that makes any sense.”
