His disappearance from the mainstream was met with little more than apathy. Since his return to the spotlight, Liam Gallagher is once more ubiquitous.

“I wouldn’t have a bad word written or said about him”, the gentleman I had met barely two minutes prior stated, defiantly. The previous 120 seconds or so of my life had been enriched by this welcoming stranger in an unfamiliar town we had taken an intentional detour to visit.

On March 22nd 1996 Oasis played the first of two dates at The Point Depot in Dublin, Ireland.

Following the gig Noel Gallagher appeared on The Late Late Show for a short interview and played two acoustic songs.

Liam Gallagher's Appearance At The Shaky Knees Festival Is Postponed Until The Fall

Liam Gallagher was due to play at the The Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta, USA in May.

The festival has now been rescheduled for October.

Organisers announced that headliners The Black Keys, The Strokes and The Smashing Pumpkins are all confirmed for the new dates and an update about the remaining lineup will be announced as soon as possible.
