To celebrate the album's 25th anniversary, we're so excited to announce that HELP will be re-issued on limited edition vinyl, and made available on digital and streaming platforms for the first time ever! 

The HELP album will officially launch on 9th September - exactly 25 years after its original release.

The iconic album, originally launched in 1995, features tracks from Oasis and Friends, The Boo Radleys, The Stone Roses, Radiohead, Orbital, Portishead, Massive Attack, Suede, The Charlatans vs. The Chemical Brothers, Stereo MCs, Sinéad O'Connor, the Levellers, Manic Street Preachers, Terrovision, The One World Orchestra, Planet 4 Folk Quartet, Terry Hall and Salad, Neneh Cherry and Trout, Blur and The Smokin' Mojo Filters (Paul McCartney, Paul Weller and Noel Gallagher).

On August 22nd 1995 Oasis played at Club Chitta in Tokyo, Japan.

On August 22nd 2005, Oasis released 'The Importance Of Being Idle' single.

It was the bands eighth and final single to top the UK Official Singles Chart.

The video is based on the film and play Billy Liar with Rhys Ifans playing the role of Billy. The Gallagher's play Shadrack & Duxbury, the owners of the funeral parlour where Billy works.

On August 22nd 2009 Oasis played their final gig at the V Festival in Stafford, England.

The band would split up later in the month in Paris.

Tony McCarroll on being in the crowd for Oasis' last ever gig at the V Festival on August 22nd 2009.

"There are only two people in the world who attended Oasis’ first and last gigs. That’s Liam and my good self! I reckon that will make a great question in a pub quiz!"

On August 21st 1994, Oasis recorded the video for the as yet unreleased 'Cigarettes & Alcohol' single at the Borderlines in London.

The band treated fans who were at the shoot to a free gig, listen to a bootleg of it below.

On August 21st 1997 Oasis released 'Be Here Now'

Despite being released on a Thursday the album racked up sales of over 695,000 and debuted at Number One on the Official UK Album charts from just three days of sales.

It took 17 days for the album to sell a million copies.
