On August 14th 1995 Oasis released the 'Roll With It' as a single. 

The song was beaten to the number one spot on the Official Singles Chart by Blur's 'Country House' that was also released on the same day.

The single sold 216,000 copies in it's first week on sale.



The best thing to come out of the Oasis v Blur singles battle for me was the bands appearance on 'Top Of The Pops' when Liam and Noel Gallagher switched places.

One of the best mimed performances of all time can be watched below.
