Liam Gallagher has spoken about The Stone Roses debut album to the new issue of MOJO.

He said "Every time I put the Roses’ tunes on,it just wasn’t gloomy.It was sunny, y’know? Even though they were from Manchester, it was just like, “How are they making this music in this fucking gloomy, rainy city?” Parallel universes. It’s pissing down outside,the sounds are taking you somewhere else. I started realising music was magical. To this day, I can put that first album on and I remember what I was wearing, who I was hanging out with, what weed I was smoking, what score City were getting battered by…"
