Noel Gallagher On The Oasis Gigs Next Year And More
Noel Gallagher claimed last week at the ‘Zoë Law: Legends’ exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery in London that the 2025 Oasis reunion shows will not be “as raucous as back in the day”.
Noel was asked whether he believed if he or Liam would behave as wildly as they did in their heyday.
“No, it won’t be as raucous as back in the day, because we’re on the wrong side of 50 now, so we’re too old, We’re too old to give a sh*t now, so there won’t be any fallouts, there won’t be any fighting. It’s a lap of honour for the band.”
During the same event he said what his Mother Peggy thought of the reunion “My mum never gave a sh*t, never,” he added. “You know what Irish mums are like?”
“When we told her we were getting back together, she said, ‘Sure, that will be nice’. That was it.”
