The ex-Smiths frontman popped into the Oasis dressing room for a chat before one of their gigs.
And Noel, 45, admits he was shocked to see the controversial rocker, 53, down almost a whole pint of vodka.
Noel said: “I asked him what he wanted to drink, and he said vodka.
“I swear to you, he had about three-quarters of a pint of vodka with a splash of tonic.
“He was necking it. Top man. I love him.”
