Johnny Marr has revealed that Noel Gallagher is currently “writing songs for fun”, although it’s not clear if any of them could be new Oasis material.
Speaking to Absolute Radio, Marr was asked if he had seen Noel recently.
“Yeah, I see him all the time,” he said. “He’s the same as always, brilliant. He’s writing songs for fun, recording songs, enjoying himself, sending me hilarious WhatsApps usually about Manchester United and lots and lots of effects pedals.
“That’s the way our relationship has gone for 30 odd years now.”
