Noel Gallagher
Noel Gallagher is a guest on 'Alan Carr's Christmas Chatty Man' and told the host he loathes Christmas.
He said “I loathe it. I’m named after Christmas by two Irish people. The adverts get on my nerves, like the one with Martin Freeman at the minute. Just nonsense! What has that got to do with Christmas?”
During the interview he also spoke about dancer Anton du Beke and TV presenter Nick Knowles releasing Christmas albums.
“Anton has an album out? That is an outrage. And Nick Knowles? My delivery is better than that. I don’t sound like I’m having a stroke when I’m singing it.”
Alan Carr’s Chatty Man Christmas Special is being aired on Christmas Day on Channel 4 at 10pm (UK Time).

Oasis
Noel Gallagher appeared on Alan Carr’s Chattyman and was easily the funniest guy there.
But he was also the most tragic as he broke a million hearts.
Alan Carr asked him about the possibility of him and brother Liam reforming Oasis for Glastonbury, and Noel did not say what everyone wanted to hear.
‘Is it true?’ Alan asked.
‘No,’ Noel replied, killing off a thousand dreams.
‘I don’t think it’s going to happen. What more can I say?’
But the real reason why it’s not on the cards? ‘I can’t be arsed.’
Unbelievable. So no Oasis at Glastonbury. Sad times.

Noel Gallagher
Noel Gallagher has got some very interesting political views.
Noel was more than happy to share them with Alan Carr on his show Chatty Man tonight.
The High Flying Birds front man reveals he’d consider voting for the Monster Raving Loony Party because he ‘can’t get behind’ any of the others.
And he has no love for ‘unpleasant’ Nicola Sturgeon’s ‘cheap shoes’.
He said: ‘The fact Cameron did not turn up for the debates is a disgrace and I think Miliband, if he gets in, will fail us.
‘But I am not going to vote. I missed my postal vote as I’m going to America. I would have voted for the most ludicrous thing like the Monster Raving Loony Party.
‘People should vote for what they believe in but there is nobody for me. It’s a sad day.’

Noel Gallagher says he's has been approached by Strictly Come Dancing bosses several times.
Speaking to The Sun Newspaper, he said, “I’ve been asked to go in to the jungle and The X Factor. I was even asked to do Strictly Come Dancing, which made me laugh the loudest.
“Me? Dance? And who gives a s**t about ballroom dancing?”
He continued, “Then there was Top Gear — even though I can’t f*****g drive.
“I’ve also been asked to do Piers Morgan’s Life Stories, but not only would I not shed a tear, I’d call him a c***.”
Noel added, “The only TV I’m doing is Graham Norton, The Jonathan Ross Show and Alan Carr, because I’ve got a new album coming out.
“I’m not going on TV for anything else. I’m a musician.”

Russell Brand
Russell Brand has revealed that Noel Gallagher uses the "Parklife" meme to mock him.
The 1994 single was used to mock Brand earlier this year after one Twitter user originally compared a long, impassioned passage from the comedian's book on revelation to the spoken word part of "Parklife" provided by actor Phil Daniels.
Appearing on "Alan Carr: Chattyman," in an episode that will air this evening (November 28), Brand reveals that as well as the public, even his friends use the joke to mock him.
"He [Gallagher] finishes his texts with it now," Brand says. "He'll go, 'Alright Russell, how's it going? ' then say something offensive about my hair or my private beliefs, and then go 'Parklife'. I secretly think, 'I remember when there was a race to be Number One and Blur won it against Oasis, so f--k you, in a time machine.'"
This is the latest occasion on which Noel Gallagher has poked fun at his friend, having more recently said that he believes the comedian's so called revolution "might be as short-lived as his acting career."

Sergio Aguero
Some might say that even in a list of celebrity fans that includes Ricky Hatton, Alan Carr and his own brother, Noel Gallagher is still definitely (maybe) the most famous die-hard Manchester City supporter.
The former Oasis songwriter was at Goodison Park on Saturday to watch his beloved Blues roll with it as they edged a committed Everton side 3-2 to take a step closer towards reclaiming the Barclays Premier League title they last won dramatically in 2012.
The importance of being idle was lost on the High Flying Birds frontman as he mingled with supporters and rose from his seat to celebrate Sergio Aguero's opener and a brace from Edin Dzeko that takes City top of the table, level on points with Liverpool with a game in hand.

This makes me feel slightly better about being a remedial driver.
The 45-year-old rocker - who has sons Donovan, five, and Sonny, two, with wife Sara MacDonald, as well as 12-year-old daughter Anais with former spouse Meg Matthews - is being forced to take lessons by his spouse, but is so determined not to legally be allowed behind the wheel, he says he will deliberately fail if he ever sits his driving test.
He said: "My lovely wife is insisting I take driving lessons. She said, 'Who is going to take the boys to the football?' And I am like, 'Well you are.' But I have sussed it, you see. If I ever qualify for a test I will deliberately fail. I would rather be in the passenger seat. I would crash a lot of cars. I have had 40-odd years looking out the window."
The former Oasis guitarist also admitted his rock 'n' roll lifestyle means he isn't too keen on his sons reaching their teens but he won't advise them to stay away from smoking and drugs completely - so long as they remember one thing... Spouting his nuggets on Alan Carr: Chatty Man tonight (10.00pm, Channel 4), he said: "I am dreading them in their teens. My attitude is everything in moderation, but I have told them, 'You will never be as cool as your dad'." Ah, every teenager's red rag. While you're at it, tell them they'll never amount to anything and watch the megalomania set in.
As it happens, Noel's partying days appear to be behind him, what with the rough heads he gets nowadays: "I find hangovers dreadful now. Terrible. It's called age. I usually wake up still drunk and when I go out to get the papers I wonder which way the traffic is going (no wonder he doesn't want to drive). The longest bender I have been on? I went three days without sleep once and ended up in hospital but that was a good party."
I won't tell you the longest stint I've stayed up, it's not advisable. The one nugget I will dispense, however, is the following. Learn to drive before you get pregnant, Noel. Baby brain is a b*tch. That and lessons aren't that productive when you mount a pavement trying to move the car out of your estate, not once but twice, and then you end up crying for two hours 'cause there's no way you'll ever be able to drive the baby anywhere in an emergency.

Noel Gallagher isn’t a man to mince his words, even when his own kids are concerned.
The outspoken fella has told his sons Donovan, five, and Sonny, two, they’ll never be cool rock ’n’ roll stars like him.
Chatting about being a dad, Noel, 45, said: “I have a mug which says Greatest Dad in the World, so I must be pretty good. My wife says I am f***ing useless, so I guess I am somewhere in the middle.
“I am dreading them in their teens though. My attitude is everything in moderation, but I have told them: ‘You will never be as cool as your dad.’”
Although he did reveal that Donovan likes listening to acid house and Dizzee Rascal before bed. Sounds pretty cool for a five-year-old.
Meanwhile, Noel admits his mum is desperate for him and brother/nemesis Liam to call a truce.
He tells Alan Carr on tonight’s Chatty Man: “Me and Liam have not spoken. I’m busy. We did text each other last Christmas because our mam made us.
“We are not a Christmas family. I hate Christmas. I am not a people person. Christmas and people wearing hats ... nah.
“I did smash his guitar. yes. I put my foot through his guitar and then he threw it at me.” He also admits Liam, 40, decided to call their band Oasis and he was never a fan of the name.
Noel sniped: “He came up with the name. I was not arsed.
“It’s a s*** name for a band anyway.”
Oasis fans are holding out for a reunion, especially as their 20th anniversary will be in 2014.
But it seems unlikely.
Dashing the hearts of fans everywhere Noel revealed: “It would take Liam or myself to be very skint and I know that is not going to happen.
‘The last time I saw Liam he didn’t say much. The day will pass and people will realise the anniversary just has not happened.”
