Liam And Noel Gallagher Reportedly End Feud

Liam and Noel Gallagher are reportedly planning to open a bar together and have ended their ongoing feud after meeting up at a a family wedding.

Liam and Noel Gallagher have reportedly ended their feud.

The brothers have barely spoke since a huge backstage bust-up ended their band Oasis in August 2009, but the pair recently met up at a family wedding in Ireland and buried the hatchet and are now even planning to open a bar together with their beloved motherPeggy.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: ''Liam initially came up with the idea after a recent trip to Manchester with his mum Peggy.

''Then between them they thought Noel should also be brought on board.

''The brothers are thinking about an indie rock-themed place which serves artisan food.''

The pair plan to call their bar 'Champagne Supernova' after the Oasis anthem - which was included on the band's seminal album '(What's the Story) Morning Glory?' - of the same name and hope to finalise their deal at an underground venue close to the Deansgate and Spinningfields area of Manchester.

The insider added: ''The brothers are consulting their famous friends such as Russell Brand and Holly Willoughby for advice on the venue.

''They reckon a hot new bar could bring them together again.''

While the business move doesn't mean Oasis will be getting back together, the group's original guitarist Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs - who left the band in 1999 - recently predicted a musical reunion will happen eventually.

He said: ''If someone said, 'Here's a field, here's a stage and here's 200,000 people,' I'm sure Liam would jump up and do it, and I don't think it would even take anyone offering him a massive bankroll of money. He'd do it because that's what he loves, that's his passion.''

Since the super-group disbanded Liam, 41, started new band Beady Eye, while 46-year-old Noel has embarked on his own solo project, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds.

Liam Gallagher is plagued by ghoulish stalkers who leave shrines on his doorstep as if he’s already dead.

The Beady Eye frontman said: “I’ve been left burning candles with pictures and wreaths and that.

“It’s weird s***. They leave pictures of John Lennon and f****** flowers and s***.”

But Liam isn’t scared enough to call in cops, adding: “You just give them a cuddle and tell them to get on their way and stop f****** about.”

He was with friends on Saturday night after performing on BBC show The Voice.

Host Holly Willoughby and husband Dan Baldwin drank with Liam and his missus Nicole Appleton at a house party – and they ended up recording a version of Oasis track Songbird.

Ex-EastEnder Tamzin Outhwaite was also at the tear-up along with Beady Eye’s Andy Bell, his wife Shiarra Bell, bandmate Gem Archer and his missus Lou.

At 2am yesterday, Andy posted a link online to their version of Songbird which you can listen to below.

The group also posted a tracklist they partied to, including Daft Punk’s Get Lucky and The White Stripes' Fell In Love With A Girl.

But they paid for the party yesterday – with Andy’s wife writing on Twitter: “Ouch.”

Beady Eye Forced To Scale Back Party Plans After The Voice

Rock-n-roll hellraiser Liam Gallagher was forced to scale back plans for a booze-fuelled aftershow party at The Voice last night - after refusing to cough-up for a mammoth drinks order.

The former Oasis star - who performed live on the BBC1 show last night - had requested thousands of pounds worth of alcohol on a rider list for his band Beady Eye.

But he was told the only free refreshments on offer were Water and fruit.

He had ordered several bottles of Verve champagne, spirits and crates of beer from the studio bar.

But after the Champagne Supernova singer, 40, was delivered a bill by Pinewood Studios totalling around £2,000, they had to send most of the booze back.

A source said: “Liam and his management had initially ordered copious amounts of champagne and spirits for a booze session after their performance on The Voice.

"They planned a lavish party for a load of his friends and family at the studio bar.

“From his hell-raising days with Oasis, Liam is used to huge amounts of alcohol and treats being laid on during world tours.

"They’d draw up a list of want they wanted and it would all be complimentary.

“But it’s a bit different when you’re doing a gig at the BBC - they are very conscious about keeping a tight budget. The only thing free is water and fruit.

“They obviously got a bit carried away with the amount of booze they had pre-ordered and when the bill came in, they had to halve it, taking off a lot of the champagne and spirits.

“They were left with just a lot of beer.

"They’ve all been getting very hyped up about the performance so it was a bit disappointing when they realised they were going to have to fork out so much money for the booze.”

Liam performed Beady Eye’s new single Second Bit Of The Apple for the live semi-final of the BBC1 show.

Robbie Williams, 39, and Dizzee Rascal, 27, were also at the studios doing a pre-record of their single Goin’ Crazy for next week’s final.

Voice host Holly Willoughby, 32, was so looking forward to the drinking session that she tweeted the band’s guitarist Andy Bell, 42, and said: “Cant wait, lots of fun to be had! #tequila?”

Meanwhile Voice coach Will.I.Am, 38, doesn’t order a rider when he performs because he doesn’t want to waste money.

The show insider added: “Will would not be impressed with Liam Gallagher’s long rider list.

"He’s been trying to teach the artists that there’s no need to spend money on crazy elaborate requests for backstage.”

Liam Gallagher Dresses Up In A Tuxedo To Celebrate His 40 Birthday

For years he has been the bad boy of the British music scene with a nonchalant attitude and outspoken opinions.

But Liam Gallagher may have just grown up as he celebrated his 40th birthday on Friday night at Whiskey Mist, in London.

The Mancunian was suited and booted as he and his celebrity mates hit the popular venue for a long and expensive evening.

Liam looked rather dapper in a black tuxedo which he wore with a black bow-tie and white shirt. Of course the rock star didn't do things completely straight and added his own twist to the smart -outfit by having his shirt untucked.

With his long side burns and cool retro hairstyle, Liam looked like the lord of the manor as he stood outside the venue with arms spread out.

A source told The Sun: 'Liam isn't shy about hitting the big 4-0. He's got all his friends and family down for a tear-up.

'He's had a brilliant week over in Madrid doing some business with Pretty Green and had a belter of a night out.

He's starting a new decade in his life with a bang.'

The former Oasis front man had arrived in a large silver cab accompanied by his wife and former All Saints star Nicole Appleton, but his brother Noel was absent.

Nicole, 37, looked lovely in a black and grey strapless dress as she joined family and friends at the trendy shindig.

Her sister Natalie Appleton, 39, also attended the event and seemed more than a little worse for wear as she left. The mother-of-two was in good company as the birthday boy had also thoroughly enjoyed himself.

Liam emerged from the nightclub bleary eyed as he posed for photographs with some keen fans.

Television presenter Holly Willoughby was a surprise guest at the party and she tweeted: 'Tonight... Is a brilliant night... I'm fully aware now that I will remember this for a very long time x'.

Pictures of Liam and guests can be found here.

Gallery And Review Of Beady Eye At Heaton Park

The Stone Roses gigs were a special moment for another homecoming hero – in the swaggering form of Liam Gallagher and his band Beady Eye.

Beady Eye played a barnstorming set on Saturday night ahead of the Roses taking to the stage at Heaton Park.

And Burnage boy Liam delighted Oasis fans by covering two of his former band's songs for the first time with Beady Eye, What's The Story (Morning Glory) and Rock 'n' Roll Star which he promptly dedicated to Ian Brown.

The band also treated the crowds to new Liam-penned song World Not Set In Stone - a song title not unlike something we'd expect from the Stone Roses themselves, we reckon!

Needless to say, Liam signed off the set with typically colourful language, shouting out to the crowds: “You are about to see the best ****ing band in the world, you don't know how lucky you are.”

Liam was later pictured backstage with his wife, former pop star Nicole Appleton, and TV presenter Holly Willoughby, enjoying the Stone Roses gig.

Liam had earlier told Elizabeth Alker in an interview for BBC6 Music that he'd felt "relaxed" about the gig and that he'd even have played support for the Roses if Oasis were still together.

He said: "I'd always had my fingers crossed, I'd have even done it with Oasis, I'm not one of those people who'd say "Im not supporting you cause we're as big as you" or whatever. Life's too short you've got to drop your guard and just have a good time, it doesn't matter who is headlining.

As long as it's happening it's great, I'm dead happy." He revealed Beady Eye's new album is "going great" and he said he hopes that both Beady Eye and the Stone Roses will both release new albums next year. "That'd be nice," he said.
