Oasis Documentary Makers Are Looking For Fans Footage And More

Oasis documentary makers are on the hunt for footage and photos of the band up to 1996. Did you take photos or film at any of the following gigs?

The band's 1994 and 1995 Japan Tours.
The Newcastle Riverside gig, 09/08/94.
The Liverpool Lomax, 13/04/94.
The Limelight, Belfast, 04/09/94.
Whisky A Gogo, LA, 29/09/94.

Any photographs or footage of the band taken backstage/off stage/at parties/ publicity events etc is also incredibly useful.

They are also looking for Chris Evans's interview with Damon Albarn on his Radio 1 show in which he compares an Oasis track to Status Quo.

Watch Noel Gallagher Feature In A Slade Documentary Later Today

It's Slade
Documentary, narrated by Radio One's Mark Radcliffe, about one of Britain's greatest and best-loved bands. Slade scored six number ones in the 70s, a feat rivalled only by Abba. Formed in Wolverhampton and led by Noddy Holder, Slade sold over 50 million records worldwide during a 20-year career which saw them re-invent themselves as skinhead yobs, then mirror-hatted platform-shoe-pioneering glam gods, before finally re-emerging as hard rock heroes.

Their poorly-spelled, self-written selection of terrace anthems included Cum on Feel the Noize, Coz I Luv You, Take Me Bak Ome, Mama Weer All Crazee Now and, unforgettably, Merry Xmas Everybody.

Apart from Noddy and his bandmates - Dave Hill, Jim Lea and Don Powell - the cast here also includes Noel Gallagher , Status Quo, Toyah Wilcox, Suzi Quatro and Ozzy Osbourne.SUB REP

Francis Rossi Wishes Oasis Tried To Last A Bit Longer

Status Quo lead singer Francis Rossi is offering some tough love to defunct band Oasis.

The 63-year-old thinks Noel, and Liam Gallagher, 45 and 40 respectively, should act their age.

“I just wish they’d tried to last a bit longer,” says Francis who is set to give fans access to new footage of Status Quo in a new documentary Hello Quo.

“Are Liam and Noel really brothers? I can understand a sibling rivalry when they’re in their mid-20s but they should be over all that. And if not then what sad cases they are.”
