Clearly delighted after his gig at The Three Arena last night, Noel Gallagher decided hit the town and paint it red.
The Manchester star headed to new Dublin hotspot Sophies in the uber trendy The Dean Hotel.
Supping on drinks in the exclusive bar, the singer shared a private area with U2 guitarist The Edge while enjoying the view of the city.
“Everyone was so surprised when Noel walked in. He was really chilled out,” an onlooker told Goss.ie.

Kathryn Thomas has revealed Brendan O’Connor left her completely mortified when he asked Noel Gallagher who she was on The Saturday Night Show.
The Winning Streak star was a guest on the RTE series on the same night as Noel – however the Oasis frontman was not too familiar with who she was.
“Waiting backstage, I couldn’t believe my ears when he asked Noel Gallagher; ‘What would you do if I told you Kathryn Thomas was coming on next?’” Kathryn said.
“In his droll Mancunian manner, Noel drawled: ‘I’d say, who on earth is that?!’”
The TV star admitted in her Daily Star column the snub left her feeling completely “humiliated”.
“Cue yours truly, arriving out to the audience red faced but laughing.”
“Although it galls me to say it, I thought Brendan’s intro was hilarious,” she admitted.
“Embarrassing yes, and a tad humiliating, absolutely.”
The cringe worthy moment was made even worse by the fact that Kathyrn is a massive Oasis fan.
“I was the biggest Oasis fan back in those late 1990s, a glorious music era.”
“Behind the scenes on Brendan’s show, I made it my business to introduce myself to Mr Grouchy Mancunian eyebrows before departing Donnybrook.”
“And I am still glad that I did so,” she added.

Noel Gallagher recently revealed Paul Weller would “put his windows in” if Oasis reformed. He clearly values the fenestration in his Maida Vale home, so any reunion plans for the nineties rock behemoths have been put on ice.
According to midweek sales tallies, Gallagher's second solo album Chasing Yesterday is on course for this week’s number one. His world tour began in Belfast, but gets off to a slightly shaky start on its second night in Dublin.
The opening two numbers sound curiously flat, as if team Gallagher haven't quite figured out the sonic intricacies of their 2015 set.
A triple whammy of the Oasis favourite ‘Fade Away’, recent single ‘In the Heat of the Moment’ and the all out rocker ‘Lock All the Doors’, nicely kick the show back into touch.
‘Champagne Supernova’ works its familiar magic with a little help from a supporting cast of thousands. Shout outs and dedications are made to former Oasis guitarist Bonehead, who is in the audience and deejaying at an after show party, and Derry chanteuse and familial namesake, Bronagh Gallagher.
The music impresario Alan McGee, who discovered Oasis and signed them to Creation Records, is also in attendance.
A Noel show wouldn't be complete without the evergreen anthem ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’, but the icing on the cake is an epic rendition of 'The Masterplan'. Released as a b-side (remember them?) to ‘Wonderwall’ in 1995, it's yet another reminder of Gallagher’s prowess as a songwriter. Judging by the reaction to his latest collection of songs charging up the charts, this power doesn’t look like fading any time soon.
My gut feeling is Oasis will eventually reform, but Noel Gallagher won't be in any massive rush to do so.

Noel Gallagher has reiterated that he finds Alex Turner boring and said that nobody he criticises should take offence as he never makes things personal.
Gallagher recently stated that he would "rather drink petrol from the nozzle" than listen to the Arctic Monkeys frontman give another interview. Speaking in the new issue of NME, which is on newsstands now and available digitally, Noel explains his thinking about the outspoken comments he makes about other musicians.
"What is there to be offended about?, Gallagher said. "I never say anything about their persona. I don't diss anybody’s character. Alex Turner wouldn't be offended by that, why should he be? I guess he could be by the headlines, because they’re like 'Noel Calls Queen A Cunt', but I was just talking about rock star interviews in general. Alex is a fucking top dude in a fucking top band, and a very attractive man. His interviews, on the other hand, are lacklustre."
"It’s even worse for solo artists," he argued. "But if someone says fucking 'Noel Gallagher's shit', they're not saying I'm shit, they're saying my music's shit. And you can't be a fan of everybody’s music, can you? I stand by everything I've ever said. Apart from Damon [in 1995, Noel said he hoped the Blur singer and bandmate Alex James would 'catch Aids and die']. I'd have found that offensive."
"I find it odd when bands say 'it's such an honour to be a bunch of cunts'. I read something in a magazine where a guy from Bastille said that it was such a fantastic honour that I'd said in an interview that in the '90s I would've taken him out after one interview. I just thought, 'You fucking dick'.”

Rock star Noel Gallagher has revealed how he is vying with Bono and Chris Martin to write the greatest song of all time.
He opened up about his friendship with the Irish singer in a new Rolling Stone interview and disclosed how he has dubbed him, Father Bono.
The Oasis legend, who has just released his latest album, said he loves socialising with the U2 frontman.
He said: “Of all the people I know, he’s the most fun to hang out with, for sure. He’s a funny fucker, and he can drink.”
He also revealed he is in competition with the U2 frontman and Chris Martin to pen the ultimate song.
“I still think tomorrow might be the day that I write the greatest song of all time. It’s like going fishing.
“The guitar is your fishing rod, and if I’m not fishing for that song, Bono will get it, and if he’s not, Chris Martin will.
“And fuck those two guys, because they’ve got enough. We’re all fishing in the same river, and its cut throat”, he told the music bible.
He is amazed at the interest the U2 frontman takes in the making of his albums for his new band, the High Flying Birds.
“He’s got big ideas — for his band and for my music as well, which is astonishing. He’s always giving me titles for songs and albums. I call him Father Bono.”
The outspoken British singer said he liked U2’s new album but named Joshua Tree as one of his favourite albums of all time.
“I like (Songs of Innocence).
“Some of the greatest moments of my musical life have involved U2. Anybody who doesn’t like The Joshua Tree is a c****ucker, for a start.
“And anybody who went to see the Zoo TV tour and didn’t think it was the greatest of all time at that time is also an idiot.”
He doesn’t have the same praise for Ed Sheeran who walked off with the gong for album of the year at the Brit awards.
But he explained a recent comment, stating he didn’t want to live in a world where Ed Sheeran was headlining Wembley Stadium, had been said in good humour.
“He’s all right, Ed. He took it with good humour which is how it was meant.
“I was bemoaning the fact the biggest rock bands in England can’t even sell out Wembley, and yet pop music can. Modern pop music is bland nonsense. There isn’t even a word yet that’s capable of describing it. If it was a colour, it would be beige.”
He also likes superstar band One Direction but he doesn’t understand why they collaborate with songwriters for the hits on their albums.

He added, "Wouldn't you? Alternative thinking is on its way out. They just don't make for great copy. Is it any coincidence that all indie labels got bought up by the major labels and things have started to get boring?"
Turner, however, is not the first musician to be the subject of Gallagher's comments.
The former Oasis frontman had called out "You're Beautiful" singer James Blunt for being "boring," according to the Independent.
Gallagher also recently gave her two cents about Taylor Swift, according to Huffington Post.
Speaking of the praise Swift has been getting for being a talented songwriter, the musician said, "Who says that? Her parents?... She seems like a nice girl, but no one has ever said those words, and you f*****g know it."

Noel Gallagher linked past and present during a 90 minute set at Dublin's 3Arena last night (March 4).
Ireland's largest indoor music venue saw Gallagher and his High Flying Birds playing the same set list as they had 24-hours earlier at Belfast's Odyssey Arena, mixing a handful of early Oasis numbers with tracks from the singer and guitarist's two solo albums.
Support came from Black Rivers, who performed a number of songs from their recently-released self-titled debut LP, including 'The Forest' and 'The Ship'. While the crowd remained mostly static throughout, they did perk up slightly when the band which consists of former Doves members Jez and Andy Williams played two tracks originally recorded by their previous group, 'Rise' and 'Black and White Town'.
"Let's cheer up with 'Black and White Town', a good song," quipped Jez in response to the rather muted crowd. But they were only here to see one man, and directly following the Black Rivers' set, Judy Henske's 1963 track 'High Flying Bird' was played into the venue as though to signal Noel and his band's impending arrival.
Arriving onstage at 9pm with his band and a ten-member choir, which sat directly behind the group facing the crowd, Gallagher opened with two tracks from first solo record 'Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds'. '(Stranded On) The Wrong Beach' and 'Everybody's on the Run' were followed by the first Oasis track of the night, a more acoustic version of 'Definitely Maybe'-era B-side 'Fade Away' the track's wistful tone punctuated here by a series of nostalgic photographs that were projected behind the group.
"What about you Dublin?" Gallagher asked the packed venue. "I don't say this many places, but it's truly great to be back. Thank you very much."
Three tracks from new album 'Chasing Yesterday' followed as the band played 'In the Heat of the Moment', 'Lock All the Doors' and 'Riverman'. Gallagher dedicated 'Lock All The Doors' to "my former right-hand man Bonehead who's out there somewhere" a nod to Oasis founding member Paul Arthurs and introduced a three-piece brass section for 'Riverman'.
"This song contains a saxophone solo. Do not be alarmed," he joked.
Two more Noel solo numbers followed before the crowd were invited to sing along to Oasis single 'Champagne Supernova', which they happily did. "I started playing this tune one day in rehearsals and everyone joined in," revealed Gallagher before opening the track on his acoustic guitar.
While the choir departed the stage after 'Champagne Supernova' (the only track they'd actually been deployed on), the brass section returned for 'Dream On', and there was an amusing moment when an assistant attempted to hand Gallagher the wrong guitar before 'The Dying Of The Light'. "You just can't get the staff," he laughed.
Noel later played back-to-back Oasis tracks a rocking version of 'Shout It Out Loud' and 'Digsy's Dinner' before closing with his new album's final track, 'Ballad of a Mighty I'.
The band re-emerged, however, for a four track encore. 'Alone on the Rope' was followed by a stripped down version of 'Don't Look Back In Anger', which sparked another massive sing along between band and crowd. 'AKA... What a Life!' and Oasis anthem 'The Masterplan' closed the show.
Although 'Chasing Yesterday' was only released on Monday, earlier this week it was reported that Gallagher was already halfway through making his third solo record.

Live Report: Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds In Dublin
Noel Gallagher linked past and present during a 90 minute set at Dublin's 3Arena last night (March 4).
Ireland's largest indoor music venue saw Gallagher and his High Flying Birds playing the same set list as they had 24-hours earlier at Belfast's Odyssey Arena, mixing a handful of early Oasis numbers with tracks from the singer and guitarist's two solo albums.
Support came from Black Rivers, who performed a number of songs from their recently-released self-titled debut LP, including 'The Forest' and 'The Ship'. While the crowd remained mostly static throughout, they did perk up slightly when the band which consists of former Doves members Jez and Andy Williams played two tracks originally recorded by their previous group, 'Rise' and 'Black and White Town'.
"Let's cheer up with 'Black and White Town', a good song," quipped Jez in response to the rather muted crowd. But they were only here to see one man, and directly following the Black Rivers' set, Judy Henske's 1963 track 'High Flying Bird' was played into the venue as though to signal Noel and his band's impending arrival.
Arriving onstage at 9pm with his band and a ten-member choir, which sat directly behind the group facing the crowd, Gallagher opened with two tracks from first solo record 'Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds'. '(Stranded On) The Wrong Beach' and 'Everybody's on the Run' were followed by the first Oasis track of the night, a more acoustic version of 'Definitely Maybe'-era B-side 'Fade Away' the track's wistful tone punctuated here by a series of nostalgic photographs that were projected behind the group.
"What about you Dublin?" Gallagher asked the packed venue. "I don't say this many places, but it's truly great to be back. Thank you very much."
Three tracks from new album 'Chasing Yesterday' followed as the band played 'In the Heat of the Moment', 'Lock All the Doors' and 'Riverman'. Gallagher dedicated 'Lock All The Doors' to "my former right-hand man Bonehead who's out there somewhere" a nod to Oasis founding member Paul Arthurs and introduced a three-piece brass section for 'Riverman'.
"This song contains a saxophone solo. Do not be alarmed," he joked.
Two more Noel solo numbers followed before the crowd were invited to sing along to Oasis single 'Champagne Supernova', which they happily did. "I started playing this tune one day in rehearsals and everyone joined in," revealed Gallagher before opening the track on his acoustic guitar.
While the choir departed the stage after 'Champagne Supernova' (the only track they'd actually been deployed on), the brass section returned for 'Dream On', and there was an amusing moment when an assistant attempted to hand Gallagher the wrong guitar before 'The Dying Of The Light'. "You just can't get the staff," he laughed.
Noel later played back-to-back Oasis tracks a rocking version of 'Shout It Out Loud' and 'Digsy's Dinner' before closing with his new album's final track, 'Ballad of a Mighty I'.
The band re-emerged, however, for a four track encore. 'Alone on the Rope' was followed by a stripped down version of 'Don't Look Back In Anger', which sparked another massive sing along between band and crowd. 'AKA... What a Life!' and Oasis anthem 'The Masterplan' closed the show.
Although 'Chasing Yesterday' was only released on Monday, earlier this week it was reported that Gallagher was already halfway through making his third solo record.
