Cherry Ghost's Simon Aldred has accused Noel Gallagher, 40, of losing touch with his audience.
The Bolton boy's band is nominated for Best New Act at the Q Awards but he'd much rather stay at home.
Simon, 31, said: "Look at Noel Gallagher - as soon as you earn enough money to remove yourself from the people you're writing about, you lose the ability to communicate with your audience.
