Liam Gallagher will make a guest appearance on the Nickelodeon animated series SpongeBob SquarePants later this year.
The former Oasis man worked on the project, providing the voice of the Salmon King – during a recent trip to New York. His cameo is expected to air during a one-hour special this summer.
“Scriptwriters created the role of the Salmon King especially for him and were blown away by what a natural he was. Liam enjoyed every minute and is keen to do more.”
Nickelodeon tipsters tell us: “Liam was a complete pro and finished all his takes in a day. He isn’t interested in becoming an actor, but voice-over work is something that appealed. He told us he is a huge fan of the show and has a huge painting on display in his home".
