BBC Radio 6 Music have been honouring some of the biggest and most influential names in music this week.
Later today between 18:00 and 20:00 (UK Time) they will be playing the Ultimate Noel Gallagher Playlist.
They have challenged fans to help them pick the playlist and make it something reflective of his status as a living legend.
