Noel Gallagher blames 1990's U.S. sitcom Friends for Britain's creeping coffee culture.
He said "Let's be honest, we live in ridiculous times. I mean, who'd spend the best part of a tenner on two coffees? I blame it all on Friends. Beautiful, successful people sat around in a coffee shop - not a pub, wrong to start with. That made all this acceptable."
