With few people using snail mail these days Noel no longer has to battle through a sack of fan mail every day.
The rise of the internet might mean music sales have plummeted for Noel Gallagher , but at least he no longer has to spend hours replying to fan mail.
The ex-Oasis star admits: “It has all stopped. I remember getting sacks of the stuff. That doesn’t happen any more.
"Now there’s no need to reply as the fans are online talking to each other.”
He says the business is totally different to what it was like when Oasis first broke on to the scene.
He adds: ”Since Definitely Maybe the industry has changed beyond all recognition. The music business we signed into doesn’t exist any more.”
