Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds To Play The Brit Awards 2012?

It's been reported by The Sun that Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds are set to play at the Brit Awards at the O2 in London next February.

James Corden will return as host in 2012 after rave reviews for his second effort earlier this year.

Last night a spokesman for The Brits said: "We are still confirming the line-up, which will be announced with the nominations in January

From Noel Gallagher's 'Tales From The Middle Of Nowhere' tour diary.

So… Cologne? Yes, it was good. Cold, wet and windy, as usual.

Mega news came through during the soundcheck. City and United have been drawn together in the FA cup!!! And more importantly I think I'm gonna be around!!! Bring it the fuck on.

The gig was a big 'un, relatively speaking. 4000 people. Great vibe… (man). Only spoiled by a few drunken English cunts asserting their Englishness down the front. Why do English people insist on doing that?? It's embarrassing… No wonder everyone hates them.

Top night all the same.

Arrived in Paris yesterday morning at about 7am!! It was still dark getting off the bus. Grim as fuck… and I'm staying in the same hotel as I was the last time I was here for a gig. (Y'know… when the "incident" occurred?) It brought back some heavy memories (man).

The day off was good though. Had a bit of a wander round. Not heading anywhere in particular. Got lost. I liked it.

Gotta go… I'm running out of change.

Noel Gallagher: 'Russell Brand Demanded To Be In Music Video'

Noel Gallagher has unveiled a behind-the-scenes look of his 'AKA... What A Life' music video exclusively on Digital Spy.

The singer said that he was surprised when Russell Brand "demanded" to be in the clip.

Gallagher explained: "He told me he was going to act me off-screen.

"I'm not a Hollywood actor, and some would say he's not either, so I told him to bring whatever he's got - bring the big guns and we'll have an act-off."

Gallagher's second cut from his debut album peaked at number 20 earlier this year, while the video has notched up 340,000 views since its premiere in October.
