Liam Gallagher Would Rather f****** Work In McDonald’s Than Reunite Oasis Right Now

Liam Gallagher has said he would rather work in a fast food restaurant or get hit by a truck than reunite Oasis right now.

Gallagher said he wouldn’t allow the band to come together while he and his brother Noel are ‘living in different worlds’.

The 44-year-old said he misses the “old Noel who was a bit of a f****** lad” but that the High Flying Birds frontman is now “after something else in life.”

Speaking to Radio X’s Chris Moyles he said: “I’m not saying he should be like me and he should be going out doing what he’s doing, because we all change and I’ve changed, I’ve definitely slowed down.

“I’m not saying you should be going out f****** gobbing on people and f****** swearing and s*** like that or whatever it is that people think we are, but I’m more on about the corporate side of it.  He’s living over there in that world, you know what I mean, and there’s no f****** room for Oasis in that world as far as I’m concerned.

“I’d rather f****** work in McDonald’s mate or get hit by a f****** 18-wheeler at 100 miles an hour, than bring my band and put it in that world.”

The siblings have been feuding for years with Liam frequently targeting his brother with potato based insults on Twitter.

But despite their differences, Liam praised Noel for being a “far better songwriter” with “some really good strong songs.”

Asked whether Noel would be a fan of his upcoming album As You Were, he said: “I think he will dig it, without a doubt, and he’ll come out and say it like a good boy, you know what I mean?

“He’ll come out and go, ‘That’s a good f****** album’.  But deep down he’ll be f****** going ‘That little f*****’, you know what I mean?”

Don't Expect To See Liam Gallagher On Carpool Karaoke Anytime Soon

The Oasis man revealed why he won't be doing Carpool Karaoke, and didn't hold back when it came to The Late Late Show presenter.

Liam Gallagher has revealed he won't do James Corden's Carpool Karaoke even though he's never watched it.

The rocker explained why he wouldn't take part in the popular segment - which sees stars sing while in a car with the British presenter - although his manager and girlfriend Debbie Gwyther disagrees.

Speaking to GQ magazine, he said: "No, thank you very much. No f***ing chance mate. With that fat bloke from Kevin and Perry?"

Debbie replied: "It's called Gavin and Stacey and you've never watched it."

However, the rocker insisted: "I don't need to watch it to know I won't like it. James Corden is a k**b head."

Meanwhile, footage has emerged of Gallagher joining in on a jam session in Montreal.

The Oasis legend played the Osheaga Music & Arts festival in the country this weekend, (4-6 August), but took some time out to engage in one of his favourite pastimes... going to the pub.

Liam Gallagher On Using Twitter

The former Oasis frontman also claims “there’s a lot of bollocks” on social media: “Apparently I’m a keen gardener.”

Liam Gallagher is one of the current kings of Twitter. He’s not only been using the social media platform to update his fans of his current activities and location, but he’s also regularly venting his spleen about just about anything.

In a very special new interview with Chris Moyles that was broadcast on Facebook Live tonight (Monday 7 August), Liam has explained that he loves Twitter:

“I enjoy it man, I mean it’s nice to put a few wrongs right, you know what I mean? And when people get a bit fucking mouthy about shit you just go, ‘No, this is what happened’.”

You can watch Liam talk about Twitter in the clip here.

Asked by Moyles if he reads replies from fans, Liam put the record straight: "I do reply to a few cocky little cunts, sometimes. There’s no point in doing it if you don’t. It’s craic ain’t it?”
Gallagher also warned that there was a lot of inaccurate nonsense floating around on social media - particularly about himself.

“The press or whoever they are,” he continued, “A lot of them they just talk absolute shit, you know what I mean? There is a lot of bollocks out there.

“I’m a church-goer, apparently. Me and God get a few things off our chest, man, every now and again.

“Apparently, I’m a fucking keen gardener as well. I got invited to go to the Chelsea fucking Flower show, because apparently, I’m into fucking flowers.

“I have a garden, but I’m not keen on it. I much prefer it be fucking paved. The minute I get some money in the bank there’ll be fucking concrete going over it.

“I’m a keen concreter.”

Liam Gallagher Says Noel Will Dig His Album

The former Oasis frontman also claims that his brother is a “better songwriter, but I’m a better singer”.

Liam Gallagher has been explaining to Radio X that he thinks his brother Noel will enjoy his first solo album, As You Were… but that the old sibling rivalry will continue to rear its ugly head.

You can see Liam explain all in our clip here.

In a very special new interview with Chris Moyles that was broadcast on Facebook Live tonight (Monday 7 August), Liam was asked if Noel had heard any of the new songs from the debut album, which is to be released in October.

Liam replied: “Oh yeah, of course he will have. And as a music lover he’ll like it. And he’ll come out and say it like a good boy. He’ll go, ‘That’s a good fucking album’. But deep down he’ll be fucking going, ‘That little fucker’, you know what I mean?

“I’m definitely not on his level, he’s a far better songwriter than me, because he’s been doing it for years. But as a singer, that’s my gig man.”

Two men. One pub. Lots of swearing. One incredible interview caught on camera.

As Liam Gallagher prepares to release his debut album, Chris Moyles decided the time was right to delve further into the mind of Manchester’s favourite son.

As You Were drops in October, with a new band, new songs and a new Liam. This Liam has taken up running, loves Twitter and is addicted to Love Island. What’s going on inside his head?

Chris and Liam sat down in a North London hostelry one afternoon to chat on camera. And they chatted. A lot. They covered everything: Fame. Money. Running. Twitter. Idiots on Twitter. Sitting around at home scratching your arse. Getting back in the game.

And, of course, Noel. And Oasis.

What’s the current state of play between the Gallagher brothers? How much money would get Oasis back together? Has Noel heard any of Liam’s solo material? What does he think?

It’s the most revealing interview with Liam you’ve ever seen. And we’ll be sharing this online exclusive across Radio X’s social channels on Monday 7 August at 8pm.

Video Review: Liam Gallagher In Montreal

Fans at Osheaga could have been forgiven for worrying that Liam Gallagher might not play a full set on Saturday. The notoriously temperamental musician had recently walked off stage after a few songs at Chicago’s Lollapalooza festival.

In Montreal, however, Gallagher did not disappoint. He delivered what columnist Brendan Kelly described as “an epic, killer set of melodic hard rock.”

And in the heat of summer, he did it all while wearing a parka that was buttoned up to his chin.

Liam Gallagher On Being A Pin Up For Fellas

Liam, 44, said: “I have been chased down the road by lots of guys as well" and bragged he could never suffer depression – because he is too good looking.

Rocker Liam Gallagher has said he gets plenty of attention from the fellas as well as the ladies.

The former Oasis frontman also bragged he could never suffer depression – because he is too good looking.

Liam, 44, said: “I have been chased down the road by lots of guys as well.”

Asked if he had ever been seduced by men, he replied: “They have had a go.”

And on whether he had experimented with male romance, he said: “F*** no – not first base. They just sent me a box of chocolates and s***. That is as far they got and I ate them.

"But I am a frontman and a f***ing good looking one at that.”

Asked if he ever feels down coping with ex-wives and his bitter feud with brother Noel, he added: “F*** that.

“Have you seen how I look? I look great. The minute I slip into depression I just have a quick look in the mirror.”

And in a swipe at Noel, 50, he said: “He looks like my dad.”

Liam, speaking in a US interview, also said he loves girlfriend Debbie Gwyther but they row – over TV shows like Love Island.

He added: “She is hot. She is not fitter than me but she is getting there.”

Liam was blasted this week after he walked off stage 10 minutes into a set in Chicago. He apologised on Twitter and blamed it on throat problems.

He plays in Canada this week before heading to the Far East.
