Liam Gallagher On Why He Should Have Won Three Q Awards

Liam Gallagher has said that he was robbed of a third Q Award, because Kasabian did not deserve to win Best Track for 'You're In Love With A Psycho'.

He took home Best Live Act and a Q Icon gong from the music awards ceremony but was disappointed his single 'Wall Of Glass' was not voted Best Track by Q readers.

He told Absolute Radio "I'd have had three to be fair because that '...Pyscho' tune by Kasabian is not fucking nowhere near as good as 'Wall Of Glass' and I know they think it is and I know the people voted for it and all that but deep down it ain't. I ain't a greedy person but I'm just letting people know. And Tom knows it, and Serge knows it. If I don't put it out there, it'll ruin my night. 'Wall Of Glass' is much better than that fucking '...Psycho' tune."

Liam Gallagher On Oasis' 'Be Here Now' Album

Liam Gallagher has been speaking about Oasis' 1997 album, 'Be Here Now', he believes it has received unfair criticism over the years.

He told Vulture: "I'm not bringing people up, but there are a lot of sheep out there, aren't there? And if the main guy [Noel Gallagher] says, 'Oh, it's f***ing this and that', a lot of people not using their own minds say, 'Yeah, I agree.'

"If Noel had said it's the best thing ever, I'm sure it'd have gotten a different f***ing reception. The reason why he didn't like it is because it reminds him of a not-so-good time with his ex-wife. That's fine. That's his prerogative.

"But me, I had a good time making that album. I think there are some great songs on it. I think I sung really well, and it was a good time to be alive."

He added: "Some of the songs went on a bit long, and they were a bit overproduced, but that's what happens, mate, if you think you're a producer.

"At that time, our kid was always messing with the tracks. It's like, write the songs, play the guitar, and shut the f**k up. I like that album, because that's what I did -- I sang the songs, I had a good time, and went to the pub."

Liam Gallagher On Noel's New Single 'Holy Mountain'

Liam Gallagher has spoken about his brother Noel's new single 'Holy Mountain' and insisted it's not for him.

Asked his opinion on the song, he told Vulture: "Obviously you know what I'm going to say, but it's not for me. Musically, I find it a bit annoying. I think there are too many notes in it, and it's just a bit not risky. It's not for me."

He insists he doesn't care that Noel has always been portrayed as the more sensible one because he thinks his brother has worked hard at trying to be "beige", while he doesn't worry about what people think of him.

He said: "He works hard at being beige, so I wouldn't want to come and take his crown at that.

"Noel's a very clever guy, and he certainly knows how to work the press, whereas I don't give a f**k, and I just do what I do, and if you write about it, you write about it. I'm here to sing songs as best as I can, and have as much fun as I can, and do as little as possible in life, because that's my motto. Know what I mean?"

Noel Gallagher Slams UK Government For Being 'Powerless To Stop' The Rise Of Terrorism

Noel Gallagher has blasted the British government for being 'powerless to stop terrorism' because of 'some hippy ideal about people's religious beliefs'.

The former Oasis star blamed successive administrations for failing to fight Islamist fanatics who had been left to 'roam' around London, where he lives with his children.

He also referred to the attack on the Manchester Arena, which he said was perpetrated by a 'f****** Islamic goon'.

Speaking to Rolling Stone Magazine, he said: 'Our government are seemingly powerless to f***** stop this s***.

'I have children and they're growing up in London and they take the tube, I take the tube - we all take public transport because I can't drive.

'And there's bombers roaming free around the whole f***** city and the government and the one before them and the one after that will be powerless to stop it because of some hippy ideal about people's religious beliefs.'

Noel headlined the first concert at Manchester Arena since 22 people were killed there in a terror attack during an Ariana Grande concert in May.

The Mancunian sang his hit Don't Look Back in Anger, a song which quickly became an anthem of defiance in the days after the attack.

Despite describing the moment as 'f****** powerful', Noel said he wished the song had not become associated with tragedy.

'Don't Look Back In Anger was already a f***** huge anthem before that f***** Islamic f****** goon put that bomb in the arena,' he said.

'When I was singing it at the Manchester concert a little part of you was like "f****** wow" but then a bigger part of you was thinking I wish this had never happened in the first place and you'd prefer the song was just as it was.'
