Music stars including ex-Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher and American rapper Azealia Banks appear in a groundbreaking new portraits exhibition.

Face to Face, by established music photographer Tom Oxley, opens its doors to the public at Londonewcastle Project Space in East London until Sunday 28 October.

The innovative portfolio of never before seen 'video portraits' includes many popular musicians. Professor Green, Mark Ronson, Wretch 32, The Maccabees, Rizzle Kicks, Delilah and Miles Kane are just some of those being projected larger than life.

Each moving portrait, accompanied by a music track of the subject's choice, enables the viewer to study the subject up close, providing them with an intimate glimpse of the artist.

Liam Gallagher And Miles Kane Feature In New Portrait Exhibition

Liam Gallagher, Miles Kane and The Maccabees are just some of the artists that feature in a groundbreaking new "video portrait" exhibition in London.

Face to Face: The Moving Portrait is the debut solo exhibition by acclaimed music photographer Tom Oxley, and features unique moving portraits projected larger than life onto the gallery's walls. Each portrait is accompanied by a music track of the subject's choice. Other personalities featured include Azealia Banks, Professor Green, Rizzle Kicks and Mark Ronson.

"The idea behind this project is to combine both the media of photography and video, and push them forward together," says Oxley. "I really want people to stop and think, then instantly connect with what is in front of them. This allows the viewer to stand back and truly take notice of what they are seeing, where subtle movements from the subject create a striking visual impact"

The exhibition opens on October 19 at the Londonewcastle Project Space in East London and runs until 28 October 2012. Admission is free. For more information, see londonewcastle.com.

Damon Albarn And Noel Gallagher Kiss And Make Up

Blur's Damon Albarn and former Oasis star Noel Gallagher put aside their years of Britpop feuding to literally kiss for the cameras at a BRIT Awards after party.

The pair were fierce rivals when Oasis and Blur were battling to be the biggest band in the UK during the mid-90s, but showed there were no hard feelings during a warm embrace at the bash on a boat which left from The O2 arena and headed up the Thames.

Gallagher, 44, kissed both hands of Albarn, 43, before planting a smacker on his lips in front of shocked guests including Professor Green, Cesc Fabregas, Adam Deacon and Coldplay's Chris Martin.

Albarn, who had earlier collected the lifetime achievement award with his Blur bandmates, said: "It's funny to think Blur were last here 17 years ago when we were big rivals. Isn't it funny how we've both mellowed after all these years? We've buried the hatchet."

Liam Gallagher Tells Professor Green To Cut Out Rapping

If anyone was going to try to teach a professor a thing or two, you might guess it would be a mouthy Manc with an ego the size of the Ship Canal.

Yes, Liam Gallagher has told Professor Green to stick with singing instead of rapping.

Prof Green met the Oasis legend at a party. He said: "Liam spun me round and said, 'I like your tones, I don't give a f*** about your rapping but I like your tones. You've got a good voice.' "

Despite being awestruck, the rapper - and we might not call him that for much longer if he decides to take Liam's advice - joked he almost came to blows with his childhood hero.

Prof said: "He shouted 'Green' then put his hand out to shake mine. I went to shake it and he started air boxing.

"I was like, 'Do you want to shake my hand or punch me?' But the banter was wicked, he's a real top bloke."

Green was gobsmacked that Liam knew him. He said: "I was listening to his music as a child so for him to be the one coming up to me was incredible."

Liam Gallagher May Your Smile Shine On

In the battle of the fake gnashers it's a knockout to the man in the Green corner.

Liam Gallagher and rapper Professor Green - who have each had their teeth fixed - bumped into each other at a fashion bash at the Studio Valbonne club in London's Soho.

Earlier ex-Oasis rocker Liam's new teeth did look worth the money as he laughed out loud with Prodigy star Liam Howlett, his brother-in-law, in Notting Hill.
