Today Is Gonna Be The Day?

Rumours Reach Fever Pitch

If rumours are to be believed, today could prove to be this year's equivalent of that unforgettable August Bank Holiday weekend in 2024, when growing whispers of an Oasis reunion suddenly became reality.

Social media is buzzing with anticipation that, alongside today's teaser for the upcoming Live 2025 documentary (released on 11 September), there could even be an announcement of a major 2027 tour.

The 2027 Tour Speculation

Over the past 24 hours, increasingly detailed rumours have fuelled the excitement. The latest claims suggest a 12-date residency at Manchester's Etihad Stadium, adding to existing speculation about a similar run at Wembley Stadium, anniversary shows at Knebworth, and even a Glastonbury appearance alongside Madonna at the end of June next year.

Whether any of it proves to be true remains to be seen, but the volume and consistency of the rumours have certainly captured fans' attention.

A Return to Europe... and Beyond?

Ever since the Live 2025 dates were announced with a Europe-sized gap in the schedule, fans have been asking one question: when will Oasis return to the continent where the band famously split in 2009?
Rome has repeatedly been mentioned as a likely destination, while Munich, Barcelona and Paris have featured consistently in fan speculation. Closer to home, rumours of a show at Celtic's Parkhead Stadium refuse to go away.

Beyond Europe, demand for a US return is enormous. Despite the long-held perception that Oasis never truly "broke" America the first time around, their popularity there has grown significantly over the years. With a potential appearance at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame ceremony in Cleveland later this year, many fans believe the timing would be perfect for a North American tour.

Asia also remains a strong possibility. The band have always enjoyed a loyal following there, and after being unable to tour South Korea and Japan with Bonehead last summer, a return to the region wouldn't come as a surprise.

All Eyes on 4pm

For now, there is nothing official to go on beyond Liam Gallagher's customary cryptic posts on social media. But with the Live 2025 trailer set to drop at 4pm UK time today, fans will be watching closely.
Could this be the beginning of another chapter in the Oasis story and the first hint of another wave of live dates to look forward to in 2027?
