Paul has designed a fuller collection for A/W11 which will include a wider range of items including tailored suits, pea coats, knitwear, tees, shoes and accessories.
The first Paul Weller Collection for Pretty Green includes: a high-shine zip biker jacket (£175), a three-quartered length Indian linen shirt (£125), a luxurious Egyptian cotton long-sleeved t-shirt (£40), a statement tank top with satin trim (£30) and pleated silk scarf (£45).
Paul Weller has designed all items in their entirety, taking inspiration from his own infamous style and the late ‘60s and early ‘70s.
Paul Weller says: “I've wanted to design my own range for some time and Pretty Green felt like a good home for my clothes”.
“The high summer capsule collection is a little taster of things to come as for Autumn, I have designed a much fuller collection".
“I guess my main design reference is somewhere between '68 and '70. The clothes themselves sit between being smart and casual with quality materials and tailoring."

Tony McCarroll

Sara Habein has done a review and interview for Tony's book.
Here is a extract...
How do you like Beady Eye? To me, it sounds like a natural progression of Liam's musical presence.
TM: Liam looks like he is really enjoying his music and his liberty at the moment. I think the longer he is out on his own the more progressive his music will become. Good to see him smiling again.

Kasabian

Beady Eye are set to provide the theme tune for the new BBC comedy 'In With The Flynns'.
The first post-Oasis venture to poke its head above the parapet, Beady Eye were always going to provoke debate. Releasing their typically blunt debut album earlier this year, the indie rockers got their wish.
Smashing into the Top Ten, Liam Gallagher's statements of bravado pushed the band into the headlines. Beginning to establish themselves outside the shadow of their former group, Beady Eye are now looking forward to a packed summer season.
Peppered with high profile festival slots and headline dates, Beady Eye are also set to invade your television screens.
The band's track 'For Anyone' is due to soundtrack the upcoming BBC sitcom 'In With The Flynns'. A new show, it stars Will Mellor and Niky Wardley as a couple of Mancunians adjusting to their early 30s.
“I had a great time working on In With the Flynns with a fantastic cast" commented Mellor. "I can’t wait to see what the public think of it.”
Producer Caryn Manabach said: “This experience has been a delight. I’m thrilled to find that families here in the UK are just as extraordinary and funny as they are back in the US.”
Of course, the move will only hasten comparisons to Oasis. The Royal Family was of course soundtracked by the Oasis cut 'Half The World Away' - a melancholic number which was sung by Noel Gallagher.
Beady Eye will try to bodyswerve comparisons, which are almost certain to dog them for the duration of the series.
Meanwhile, Kasabian have been working on a sit com of their own. The band were invited to get on board by friends, with Tom Meighan set to star while Serge Pizzorno is due to provide the soundtrack.
'In With The Flynns' is due to launch tonight (June 8th) on BBC One.

Noel Gallagher
Teenage Cancer Trust

Noel Gallagher says his perfect cup of tea must be the colour of Quality Street toffees - you know, the ones in the yellow wrapper.
The Oasis legend reveals he loves a brew so much he used to drink twenty cups a day and still takes his own bags on tour.
His favourite cuppa is Yorkshire Tea, despite being raised across the border in Manchester.
Noel, 44, said: "It was always on the Oasis rider on tour - tea, must be Yorkshire. I'm a Northerner and it's part of our diet."
Noel is disappointed by London tea. He said: "There's a lack of good tea-making down here. Paul Weller's tea-making leaves a lot to be desired. It's watery and the colour's not right."
Noel's guide to the perfect cuppa is on the right.
Noel's tea tips are from Love Music Love Food - The Rock Star Cookbook, £30, in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust, out Sept 5.

Justin Young
Liam Gallagher
The Vaccines

Taken from an interview with Justin Young by New York Magazine, read the full interview here.
Can you understand why the press goes after these things? Like, were you a fan of the old Blur vs. Oasis beef?
I loved it. I kind of found the personalities just as interesting as the music. Well, the people I latched onto when I was a really young kid, Elvis or Kurt Cobain or even Liam Gallagher, they’re big characters, aren’t they? And along with enjoying the music, you enjoy them.
So do you ever feel a responsibility to be a bigger character yourself?
No, no. Once or twice, perhaps, I’ve been criticized for not being that big character. But I’m not. That’s really it. It’s sort of weird, really. It’s part of it: It’s performance, and it’s theater, and that’s why pop music is great. I’m always seduced by it. But at the same time, while we are a pop band, I find it hard to fake. Honesty through creativity and performance is a really important thing to me. I'm not gonna say stuff just to get a reaction.
Speaking of Liam Gallagher — he called you guys “boring,” and you eventually responded by saying “Words are his weapon, not mine. I think I've made a better record than he has [with Beady Eye].” That seemed smart, to avoid taking an overt dig.
I mean, it was a dig. I was trying to bury it, but I should have known that that would have been a pull quote. And then everyone used it. I’m not really interested in getting involved. I do think we made a better record than Beady Eye. But he’s a better rock star.

Noel Gallagher

The booze flowed, the fans partied and the girls gathered at Noel Gallagher’s stag do on Friday, but little brother Liam was nowhere to be seen.
Still, as the party raged around him, Noel drunkenly mumbled out an open invitation for Liam to attend on the big day, saying he “should be there”.
The mullered Manc’s bender started off as a quick drink with a few close friends. But as the booze flowed, they set off on a pub-crawl across London, picking up hangers-on along the way, after he invited a whole pub to have a drink with him on his last night of freedom.
Shouting out orders for an endless stream of beer, he bellowed across the bar: “I’m getting f***ing married and I want everyone as p***ed as me.”
A few shandies later, with girls joining in the fun, Noel revealed he wants Liam to come along to his wedding on June 18, when he ties the knot with Sara MacDonald.
Noel, who turned 44 last week, said: “He is my brother. He is a tit but he’s my brother so I guess he should be there. Yeah, I would want him there.
“Family is family on days like that and it would make a lot of people happy. But he’ll always be a complete t**t.”
The boys’ mum, Peggy, is said to be behind the reluctant truce – encouraging Liam to make the effort and join in on his brother’s big day.
But the boys, who have always had a turbulent relationship, haven’t spoken a word to each other since their fallout which caused Oasis to split in August 09.
Nevertheless, Noel enjoyed a cracking night out, finally leaving a private members bar in Soho at 3am, looking rather wobbly – although the stragglers are probably still drinking somewhere now.
So, Liam. Don’t Look Back In Anger.
Dig out your best hat, buy a nice toaster and get yourself to the church on time – after all he is your brother…

Pretty Green
Robbie Williams

Take That singer will apparently name the label Farrell after his granddad.
Robbie Williams could be set to reignite his feud with Liam Gallagher by launching a clothing label to rival Pretty Green, if one tabloid is to be believed.
The Take That singer is set to launch Farrell, a label named after his granddad, later this year, according to The Sun.
The collection will apparently include three-quarter-length mod coats, t-shirts, flat caps and polka-dot scarves.
"Robbie's aim was to create a collection with a heritage feel combined with a modern style," a 'source' commented.
The clobber is believed to be hitting stores this autumn.
Gallagher launched Pretty Green in 2009 and the label now has two stores in London, along with shops in the Beady Eye man's native Manchester and Glasgow.
The former Oasis frontman recently claimed Pretty Green is better than Jay-Z's clothing range Rocawear, arguing that people should be "arrested" for wearing the rapper's gear.
"You're going to be fucking arrested wearing his gear and you're going to pull a really nice-looking bird wearing mine," Gallagher commented.
