Liam Gallagher “That Fucking Band Meant Everything To Me, Everything"

Liam Gallagher spoken about his real feelings on the Oasis split in an emotional new interview.

Speaking to NME Gold, Gallagher admitted he still feels upset about the split.

“That fucking band meant everything to me. Everything. It’s in my veins. It’s not about the money,” Gallagher said.

He continued. “I’m still deeply fucking disturbed and still deeply grieving for that band.”

H admits that he still hadn’t moved on from the band split in 2009. “I know it’s been nine years or however long it is, and I know people go, ‘Yeah, but get over it.’ But no. I won’t fucking get over it. Maybe I need to go and see someone about it. The Ready Brek glow was there, and now it’s not. It was like part of my fucking system and soul was ripped and fucking just fucked off to the side.”

NME Gold is in stores now.

Liam Gallagher Doesn't "Give A Fuck What Paul Weller Thinks"

The Wall Of Glass singer has hit back at the Modfather, after he compared his As You Were album to Beady Eye, and called the lyrics "pony".

Liam Gallagher has slammed Paul Weller after he said he wasn't "massively surprised" by his As You Were album.

Taking to Twitter, the Wall Of Glass singer wrote: "I don't give a fuck what Paul weller thinks I've never been 1 of his little bitches and he fucking knows it as you were LFUKING x".

It came after the Modfather was asked about new albums he'd been enjoying recently and he'd revealed: “I was lucky enough to get a copy of Noel Gallagher‘s [album] and I’ve really loved that. It’s a great record, I’ve been playing that loads.”

However, when quizzed if he'd heard Liam's No.1 solo debut, The Changingman responded: "I’ve heard a few songs, y’know. A couple of songs maybe.”

He added: “I’m glad for [Liam], I’m glad he’s got his own thing together and he’s out there doing it. I’m really pleased on that level.

“Musically, it just sounds like Beady Eye – which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it wasn’t a massive surprise or anything. But I think I’m more pleased that he’s out there doing that. The lyrics are pretty pony I thought, a little bit sub-standard.”

Liam Gallagher Has No Idea What The Lyrics Of His And Oasis' Songs Mean

Liam Gallagher has no idea what the lyrics of his biggest songs mean, it has emerged.

The 45-year-old says the tunes written by brother Noel such as Champagne Supernova and Supersonic are lost on him.

And he also said he is puzzled by the words of his latest single Bold – even though he wrote them himself.

The ex Oasis singer said: “I just got on with it. I certainly don’t know what half of them mean.

“Supersonic? I don’t know what that means. Champagne Supernova? I don’t know what a lot of that stuff means.

“I don’t even know what Bold means.”

The Roll With It singer added: “I can sing anything and it’ll mean something because of the way I sing it.

“When I look at the lyrics I don’t go, ‘What’s this about?’ Not everything has to have a meaning. Life: what does that mean?”

Liam added that he would have walked away from music if his new material had not gone down well with fans.

Liam Gallagher Has Revealed He Plans To Release More Music In The Future

Liam Gallagher has revealed he plans to release more music in the future as long as its something the fans want.

He said: "If this album had just dripped out there and no one paid much attention to it, I'd have been fucked. Personally, I would have gone, 'I don't think I've got the heart to go make another one.' But everyone seems to want another Liam Gallagher record, so who am I to deny them?

"I hope they know I'm a real deal. The way I see it, it's all about the universe, mate. I've been good to rock 'n' roll and rock 'n' roll has been good to me. Rock 'n' roll saved my life - it's done it on many occasions. People have had it worse but the last four years I've sort of lost me way a little bit.

"Now it's come around and been good again. Hopefully I'll be good to it. The fans are cool, man. Being a Liam Gallagher fan must be f***ing hard work. But let me tell you, being Liam Gallagher is even harder because I've got to live with me 24/7."

He said he will be giving everyone a "breather" before unveiling a solo second album.

He told People magazine: "Obviously I would have liked Beady Eye to be a success but it wasn't meant to be. I think the time off has done me a world of good. I'm pretty in-your-face as an artist - or a singer, or a big mouth, or whatever the fuck you want to call me. I think people needed a break from me, too, so I think it's done everyone a world of good.

"I'm not one of them people that craves fame and that. So we'll do the record, we'll do the rounds and then we'll get out of people's faces again. Maybe we'll go again down the line, but I certainly won't be making another one straight away. Everyone needs a breather, I think. But I'm glad to be back and I'm glad to be up there singing. That's what I was put here to do, man: sing songs. Hopefully I can keep doing that for the rest of my existence."

Noel Gallagher “The Rise Of Oasis Was The Last Great Old School Rock’N’ Roll Story.”

Noel Gallagher has spoken about the Oasis documentary 'Supersonic that was released last year, and said “the rise of Oasis was the last great old school rock’n’roll story”.

He told the current issue of Q "Supersonic ends with Knebworth, so it’s all rise and no fall. Imagine if we’d have walked off stage at Knebworth and that had been it. It would have been the greatest story of all time! A better story than The Beatles, Elvis, all that shit. But we were too caught up in the thing. You’re like, ‘Fuck this, we’ll come back next year and do five fucking nights!’”.
