Liam Gallagher On Getting Thrown Out Of Church Because He Was ”Sizzling”

Liam Gallagher got thrown out of church for being sweaty after his morning run,  he dropped into a service at his local place of worship after going for his daily morning run, but was asked to leave because he was ”sizzling”.

He told Q Magazine ”I got thrown out of church the other week. It was a Sunday and I’d been on a run. I sat at the back and started sizzling. Smoke was coming off of me. Someone at the front went, ‘Excuse me, out you go’, so I got slung out.”

Asked whats the last thing he thinks about at night, he said: “How I can’t wait to wake up and go for a run. I love it. When I run, I feel full of beans – like I’m in a Morecambe & Wise sketch. When I don’t, I’m like a neurotic f***ing housewife. My head feels like a cannonball. Not good.”

Liam Gallagher On Why He Never Uses Public Transport

Liam Gallagher never takes public transport because he hates having to get too close to other people.

He told Q magazine: “I haven’t been on it for years. I’ve got legs, you know what I mean? F**k Tubes. Not into it. All those people sweating and breathing on you – no thanks. Our kid does it. He even did a photoshoot down there to let people know he’s a man of the f***ing people.” And Liam also confessed to finding hot weather stressful.

Discussing his last holiday, he said: “The Maldives. Beautiful. I get stressed out in the heat, but if there’s a pool with a bar, I’m sweet. I can lie there all day like George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley in the ‘Club Tropicana’ video.”

Liam Gallagher “I Never Had Any Problem With Blur”

Despite their infamous Britpop rivalry, Liam Gallagher has said that he ‘never had a problem’ with Blur – and added that they’re ‘madder than Oasis these days’.

In a new interview, Gallagher shared a fond memory of a recent run-in with Blur bassist Alex James.
“I saw one of them the other night at some awards do,” Gallagher told Q Magazine. “What’s the bass player called? Alex. He had a pair of shorts on. I think it was the first day back at school. They’re madder than us these days. He was completely off his fucking box.”

Noel Gallagher too has appeared to bury the hatchet with Blur in recent years. Not only have he and Albarn performed together on a number of occasions, but Noel lends guest vocals on Gorillaz‘s new song ‘We Got The Power’ with Savages‘ Jehnny Beth. Now, Liam has downplayed their Britpop feud – but declared that he’s still quite far away from a Gorillaz guest spot.

“I never had any problem with Blur,” he continued. “The rivalry was all a bit of a laugh for me. But you still wouldn’t catch me doing backing vocals for Damon Albarn.”
