Speaking exclusively BANG Showbiz Ocean Colour Scene frontman Simon Fowler spoke about Liam and Noel Gallagher.

He said "I am pleased to see Liam back, he's a brilliant frontman. Although I like his new stuff I am still one of those people that would love to see them get back together. It's a shame that they don't like each other much these days and it is genuine. They probably love one another but don't like each other very much, it's a classic brothers' thing. They're go by through their Kinks phase now, they've had their Beatles phase and now they think they're the Kinks!"

he added "I thought if anything would then it would be the bomb in Manchester, but it didn't. I think one day it would be nice to see on stage together again. But I would say that they both seem to be happy so that's important."

Taylor Hawkins Would Love To Write A Song With Liam Gallagher

Foo Fighters' drummer Taylor Hawkins has said that he would love the chance to play drums in Liam Gallagher's band and write a song with him.

Asked if he'd like to join Liam's live band Taylor told Matt Wilkinson on Beats 1: "Absolutely. He hasn't asked. He loves 'Range Rover Bitch' - that's so amazing! I'd like to write a song with him. If he likes 'Range Rover Bitch' man. I've already told him that, he knows. He's such a character."

He said: "I think for him, having the new band Beady Eye was just confusing to people and now he can be Liam Gallagher which means he can play all the Oasis songs he wants and he can play his new album, which is really the best music he's made since Oasis.

"I heard a few Beady Eye things and it was good but he knows he needs to write songs with other people.

"I'm stoked for him.

"And when he's on man, he's on! That's what I love about him, he's such a temperamental performer."
