Former Oasis frontman and Manchester City supporter Liam Gallagher believes if his side beat their rivals at the Etihad Stadium tonight, they will win the Premier League.
Gallagher said that after Arsenal beat City two weeks ago - leaving them eight points behind Manchester United - he "thought it was well and truly over".
I got back from Disneyland with the kids and we got beat by Arsenal so we were eight points behind and I was getting loads of grief from United fans in Disneyland.
Even Daffy Duck I think is a secret Red, he was having a pop, so I thought it was well and truly over then."
But, United unexpectedly lost to Wigan and drew with Everton allowing City to close the gap to just three points. If they win tonight they will top the table thanks to their superior goal difference.
Gallagher said a City win tonight will mean they will be lifting the Premier League trophy in May.
If we beat United tonight we can go on to win the league but United are a mega team and we will have to wait and see, but the guys are going to be earning their money tonight.
On April 28th 2000, Noel Gallagher and Gem Archer stopped by 'MuchMusic' studios in Canada to promote Oasis' fourth studio album 'Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants' and play a few songs.
Mischa Barton is very proud of the video she shot with Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds in Los Angeles this week.
Mischa Barton says her video with Noel Gallagher is "really beautiful".
The 26-year-old actress was shooting the promo with the former Oasis guitarist in Los Angeles this week and she is very pleased with the final cut.
She wrote on her twitter page: "The video for High Flying Birds is gonna be really beautiful, awesome team!
"It just never gets old working on a project, seeing it splashed about on the internet ahead of time the next day!!! LOVE NOEL (sic)."
Mischa is such a fan of Noel's former band Oasis - which he was in with his brother Liam Gallagher - and his new High Flying Birds project, that she didn't even mind running around Los Angeles in leopard-print underwear.
In other tweets she wrote: "Doing Noel Gallagher's video today. Was so excited I barely slept and he didn't dissapoint! How come when you're running around in your underwear it's cold?! (sic)"
The former 'O.C.' star was joined on set by an actor in similar underwear. It is not yet known which song the video will accompany.
Noel, 44, has worked with famous faces before on his videos.
Russell Brand - who acted as best man at the rocker's wedding to Sara MacDonald - starred in the promo for solo track 'AKA... What a Life!', while Rhys Ifans appeared in the short film for Oasis song 'The Importance of Being Idle'.

"Some Might Say" is a song by British rock band Oasis and was released on the 24th April 1995.
The song was written by the band's lead guitarist Noel Gallagher. It was the first single to be released from their definitive second album (What's the Story) Morning Glory ? in 1995, and provided the band with their first #1 in the UK Singles Chart.
The track was apparently inspired by the Small Faces and/or T-Rex. It was the last Oasis track to feature original drummer Tony McCarroll, who was asked to leave the band before the main recording sessions for (What's the Story) Morning Glory ? when tensions arose between McCarroll and the Gallagher brothers. The rest of the tracks on the album feature Alan White on drums.
The sleeve artwork, shot at Cromford railway station in Derbyshire, England, features art director Brian Cannon's father with wheelbarrow and his mother with mop. Also pictured are Matthew Sankey, Cannon's aide and Carla Knox, barmaid of his local pub. Liam Gallagher can be seen on the bridge whilst Noel can be viewed with a watering can. Cannon himself rates this piece amongst his greatest works.
The planned promo video for the song was canceled due to Liam not turning up for the shoot. Instead, a makeshift video was created using footage from the "Cigarettes & Alcohol" and US "Supersonic" videos.

B-sides Aside from the title song, the single boasts some of Oasis' finest B-sides, all of which were deemed worthy to grace the critically acclaimed Masterplan album. "Talk Tonight", is one of many acoustic B-side tracks sung by Noel, and was, at the time, the most vulnerable song he had attempted. It was inspired by the near-breakup of the band in Los Angeles in autumn 1994, when Noel walked out without telling anyone and headed for San Francisco.
The B-side "Acquiesce" was released as part of the Stop the Clocks EP in promotion their compilation album, Stop the Clocks.
In an interview promoting the compilation album, Stop the Clocks, Noel stated that "Some Might Say" is the "archetypical Oasis song' and 'defines what Oasis is". Noel added later in the interview that along with "Some Might Say", its b-side, "Acquiesce", was also the song that defined Oasis.
The song also appears on Stop the Clocks, as do two of the b-sides. Suprisingly, this means that the "Some Might Say" single contains the fourth largest number of tracks to appear on Stop the Clocks of any Oasis release (after Definitely Maybe, Morning Glory and The Masterplan). Therefore, more songs from this single ended up on Stop the Clocks than Don't Believe the Truth (2 songs), Standing on the Shoulder of Giants, Heathen Chemistry (1 song each) and Be Here Now (no songs from this album appear on Stop the Clocks).
"Some Might Say" is a playable track in both Guitar Hero World Tour and The European version of Guitar Hero On Tour: Decades.
Yesterday actress Mischa Barton tweeted "Doing Noel Gallagher's video today. Was so excited I barely slept and he didn't disappoint!"
The St Trinian's actress was photographed filming on the streets of Los Angeles in little more than underwear.
Wearing just a leopard print bra and knickers set, Mischa showed off her svelte frame and narrow midriff as she larked about with a male co-star - dressed similarly in Fred Flintstone-style Y-fronts.
No word yet on what song the video is for, I will keep you informed!
Noel Gallagher is worried about growing old and getting a flabby belly.
The legendary rocker wants a kick-ass six-pack after shooting his new video Dream On with a crew of bodybuilder actors.
The video, which was filmed in LA last December, sees Noel refereeing a boxing match between a man and his wife with pro bodybuilders in the crowd.
One of the actors on the shoot told us: “Noel was asking the bodybuilders for some top tips on getting into shape.
“He said he’s naturally slim and doesn’t want to cart around stomach flab as his wife Sara keeps in such good shape. I told him to eat more protein and do 200 sit-ups a day. He didn’t look very impressed with the sit-up idea.
“He said sit-ups are for posers and he just wanted to sit watching the TV with ‘one of those vibrating things on my belly like in the adverts’. I told him no way.’’
Meanwhile the High Flying Birds star, 44, admits he loves reminiscing about Oasis in the early 90s.
Noel said: “They were great times, and the things we did were incredible. I genuinely was in it for the music.
“Don’t get me wrong, the cash, the drugs and the girls and all that were f***ing brilliant.
“If I had to put it in order it would be cash, drugs, girls.
Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds scored the highest-selling vinyl single of this year's Record Store Day, which organisers have said is set to break all previous sales records.
The ex Oasis leader's new EP 'Songs From The Great White North' edged Arctic Monkeys' new track 'R U Mine?' into second and Sex Pistols' re-release of their classic 1977 track 'Anarchy In The UK' into third in the vinyl singles chart. A picture disc of David Bowie's 'Starman' and Bruce Springsteen's 'Rocky Ground' completed the top 5.
More than 300 artists offered up new vinyl releases to coincide with Saturday's (April 21) celebrations, with new material, cover versions, rare tracks and studio outtakes all released.
Initial feedback from stores has suggested Record Store Day 2012 has achieved bigger sales than any previous year. A detailed breakdown of sales is due to be calculated later this week.
Vinyl sales are reported to be up over 50 per cent compared with last year's figures, with some participating stores reporting sales increases of over 100 per cent compared to 2011.

Paul Weller has fired back at pal Noel Gallagher after the former Oasis star said he wouldn’t want the Modfather to look after his home.
Weller, 53, said: “I go and feed his cat for him – it’s not a problem.
“He is confusing me with the ghost of my past – I’ve changed.” Noel, 44, has previously suggested that he wouldn’t trust his mate to water his plants.
“Can you imagine leaving the keys with Weller?” he joked. “You’d come back and the fridge would be gone. He drank the cat, sold the car and smashed the telly up.”
