Even though the former Oasis star was born and raised in Manchester, he insists he feels Roy Hodgson's men are "always a good laugh".
Football fan Noel Gallagher has said he loathes the England team so much he always supports the opposition.
Even though the former Oasis star was born and raised in Manchester, he insists he feels Roy Hodgson's men are "always a good laugh".
Speaking on US radio the 47-year-old went on to mock suggestions the team are world beaters after their recent 3-2 win over Germany while admitting he loathes all internationals who play for Manchester United and especially Wayne Rooney.
Noel blasted: "I am not a fan of the English team .
"I find the whole circus surrounding it annoying, that when they beat Germany in a friendly they are world beaters, but we all know Germany will win that trophy, and England will be lucky to get to the quarter finals.
“No, I'm not an England fan, though it would be great if England won anything, it would be truly staggering.
"I don't consider myself to be English, my parents are Irish, my wife's Scottish, my children have got some Scottish in them, but at the same time I don't feel a hundred percent Irish either because I was born in England.
"So internationally I don't really support anyone, but if England were playing Scotland tomorrow I would be supporting Scotland.
"If Ireland were playing England, I would be supporting Ireland, same for Wales, but I've been to England matches and it's always a good laugh.
"I don't like Wayne Rooney, most of the United players have coloured my judgement of England down the years, I know it's petty but it's just the way I am."
The die hard Manchester City fan said he feels only Raheem Sterling and Joe Hart deserve any international silverware.
He added: " Joe Hart is a legend and if anyone deserved a medal it would be him, and Raheem Stirling but the rest of them can f*** right off as far as I'm concerned."
The musician is also one of the few in the nation to bemoan Leicester City's potential win of the Premier League.
"I am not interested, if we don't win it it shouldn't be presented to anyone,” Noel said.
"Oh f*** no, of course I wouldn't want United to win anything, between the two, to be honest, I'd rather Tottenham win, I don't know why.
"Saying that it's over, Leicester are going to win it, they won it about four weeks ago, there's no way they'll stop them now.
“The Tottenham lads seem like pretty good lads, you know what I mean? I think they'd be worthy champions, and that Leicester team is going to break up at the end of the season and next season they might get relegated.
"It will be a bit of a flash in the pan you would have thought, that's the way it is.

Noel Gallagher revealed to talkSPORT on Monday night his plans to sabotage Real Madrid preperation ahead of their Champions League semi-final against his beloved Manchester City.
The Blues host Real at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday night in the first leg of their last-four clash.
And, coincidently, Gallagher has found himself staying in the same hotel as the Spanish side.
Currently on tour his High Flying Birds troop, huge City fan Gallagher joined the Sports Bar on Monday night following a gig in Liverpool to preview the game.
And he revealed he had some tricks up his sleeve to give some of the Real stars, including Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale, and sleepless night.
Speaking to the Sports Bar from the said hotel, rock star Gallagher joked: “I’m in the same hotel. I’m going to have a quick drink here and then we’re going to find out if we can evacuate this hotel a couple of times!
“Mr Ronaldo and Gareth Bale are about to receive quite a lot of room service during the night.
“I can see Ronaldo getting an ironing board at quarter to four, and Bale might be getting a hairdryer at about five o’clock.”
When presenter Andy Goldstein remarked that it sounded like something he probably would do, the former Oasis star added: “I would, if I thought we would benefit from it, for sure!
“I might see where everyone is going for breakfast as well and see if we can’t slip them all something.”

Oasis
Tony McCarroll

"Some Might Say" is a song by British rock band Oasis and was released on the 24th April 1995.
The song was written by the band's lead guitarist Noel Gallagher. It was the first single to be released from their definitive second album (What's the Story) Morning Glory ? in 1995, and provided the band with their first #1 in the UK Singles Chart.

The track was apparently inspired by the Small Faces and/or T-Rex. It was the last Oasis track to feature original drummer Tony McCarroll, who was asked to leave the band before the main recording sessions for (What's the Story) Morning Glory ? when tensions arose between McCarroll and the Gallagher brothers. The rest of the tracks on the album feature Alan White on drums.
The sleeve artwork, shot at Cromford railway station in Derbyshire, England, features art director Brian Cannon's father with wheelbarrow and his mother with mop. Also pictured are Matthew Sankey, Cannon's aide and Carla Knox, barmaid of his local pub. Liam Gallagher can be seen on the bridge whilst Noel can be viewed with a watering can. Cannon himself rates this piece amongst his greatest works.
The planned promo video for the song was canceled due to Liam not turning up for the shoot. Instead, a makeshift video was created using footage from the "Cigarettes & Alcohol" and US "Supersonic" videos.

B-sides
Aside from the title song, the single boasts some of Oasis' finest B-sides, all of which were deemed worthy to grace the critically acclaimed Masterplan album. "Talk Tonight", is one of many acoustic B-side tracks sung by Noel, and was, at the time, the most vulnerable song he had attempted. It was inspired by the near-breakup of the band in Los Angeles in autumn 1994, when Noel walked out without telling anyone and headed for San Francisco.
The B-side "Acquiesce" was released as part of the Stop the Clocks EP in promotion their compilation album, Stop the Clocks.
In an interview promoting the compilation album, Stop the Clocks, Noel stated that "Some Might Say" is the "archetypical Oasis song' and 'defines what Oasis is". Noel added later in the interview that along with "Some Might Say", its b-side, "Acquiesce", was also the song that defined Oasis.
The song also appears on Stop the Clocks, as do two of the b-sides. Suprisingly, this means that the "Some Might Say" single contains the fourth largest number of tracks to appear on Stop the Clocks of any Oasis release (after Definitely Maybe, Morning Glory and The Masterplan). Therefore, more songs from this single ended up on Stop the Clocks than Don't Believe the Truth (2 songs), Standing on the Shoulder of Giants, Heathen Chemistry (1 song each) and Be Here Now (no songs from this album appear on Stop the Clocks).
"Some Might Say" is a playable track in both Guitar Hero World Tour and The European version of Guitar Hero On Tour: Decades.

Noel Gallagher has been inducted into the hall of fame at a famous Glasgow concert venue.
The Oasis singer was added to the list of celebrities in the Barrowlands Hall of Fame on Thursday night after performing at the Hydro.
Noel was given a glass trophy, and his name will be carved on a plaque and hung on the stairs of the famous music venue.
He is one of a number of celebrities who have successfully been inducted so far, including David Bowie and Scots rockers Big Country.
Stagehand and Clutha Trust founder Billy Coyle, who presented Noel with his award, said: "We were sitting talking about why we had picked Noel to go into the hall of fame and we explained that there were qualifications you had to have to be inducted.
"Noel's qualifications are that he had been to the Barras three or four times previously, working for Inspiral Carpets, and he had performed a solo gig when Liam walked off stage [in 1994].
"He carried on playing so the fans wouldn't be disappointed, and the rest of the band joined him later, after about seven or eight songs.
"He said to all the fans at the Barras that there would be an Oasis concert or free for everyone who kept their stubs from the gig, and he came good - he had another concert within four weeks.
"Noel also did a TV interview about up and coming bands, and was asked what the best thing they could do to improve at playing live.
"He told them any band who wants to play live has to play the Barrowlands."
Billy said all the bands and artists who have been entered into the Hall of Fame have all made a positive contribution to the venue and to concert goers.
He also added that if it hadn't been for Noel's generosity in signing a guitar after his Hydro show in 2015, they may not have got the Clutha Trust project off the ground.
The project was set up following the helicopter tragedy, and aims to teach children across the city how to play musical instruments and give them opportunities to perform.
Billy said: "The funds we raised from the guitar meant we could organise events and teach people to play.
"That developed into the Clutha Next Generation.
"The initial push from Noel with his high profile meant we could stage an event for under 18s in the Barras as well, where 39 acts got to play.
"He was really impressed and has asked us to keep him informed."

Noel Gallagher is getting closer to his Oscar dream after teaming up with a soundtrack great.
David Holmes, who has scored hit movies including Ocean’s Eleven, is producing the singer’s next solo album.
Now the hope is that Hollywood bigwigs will use his new material for a movie and get Noel that Academy Award nod.
An insider told me: “With David’s influence, getting the music on to a film soundtrack stands a very good chance.”
UK stars Adele, 27, and Sam Smith, 23, have nabbed an Oscar in recent years.
And the elder Gallagher, 48, admits he’s a bit jealous.
He said recently: “It would be nice if I could write a song for a fi lm which would win me an Oscar.”
Due out next year, the rock legend called his new solo music “f***ing brilliant”, dashing any lingering Oasis reunion hopes.
Producer David, who is up for an Ivor Novello Award, recently remixed some of Noel's work.
And Noel explained: “I’m working with a producer in a way I’ve never worked before which is writing in the studio and my producer’s suggesting jumping off points.
“The end results are pretty good at the moment.”

Iwan Rheon
Liam Gallagher
Well here’s a compliment for Liam Gallagher – the way one of Game Of Thrones’s most hated and evil characters is portrayed is based on him!
Iwan Rheon has confessed that he took inspiration from the Oasis brother when playing scenes as the sinister Ramsay Bolton, adding that he also took elements of The Joker and, uhh Dennis The Menace.
Yeah, we reckon that Ramsay might be a little bit more terrifying than a Beano character with a catapault.
According to NME, Rheon explained that he pitched Ramsay ‘somewhere between the Joker from The Dark Knight and Dennis the Menace, with a little bit of Liam Gallagher in there.’
The psychotic character is married to Sansa Stark and has been involved in some of the most violent scenes in the fantasy show.
