Oasis
Robbie Williams
Taken from a interview that Robbie Williams did with The Sun, the full interview can be found here.
I ask if Robbie has seen the new film Supersonic which covers Oasis’s wild early days and when Robbie famously left Take That in 1995, and was photographed partying with Liam and Noel Gallagher at Glastonbury.
“If it’s on a flight then I will watch it. That was a f***ing amazing time. High-octane stuff.
“Where were you while we were getting high? Well I was there — but I pushed it way too far. Things like that show everyone having an ace time but not the hangover.
"So yeah, I’d watch it on a plane but not if it reminded me of the hangover as I’ve been trying to get sober ever since.
“Liam was the voice of our generation and the soundtrack to our lives and the music industry needs a Liam.”
I ask Robbie what he thinks of Liam as a solo star as his debut album is coming next year. Could Robbie, Liam and Noel be battling it out for Best Male at a Brit Awards night?
“For competitiveness I don’t think I’ve got anything to worry about,” he smiles. “But if Liam gets the right songs, in 12 months time he could push my competitive nature and I could be p***ed off.
"Right now I just want him to make a really great album. The world misses him and I hope it is brilliant.”

Noel Gallagher
Oasis
Oasis guitarist-songwriter Noel Gallagher remembers the spontaneous creation of the band's breakout single "Supersonic" in a trailer for upcoming band documentary Oasis: Supersonic. "Someone had sent out for Chinese or fish and chips or something – or Chinese fish and chips," Gallagher says. "I went in the back room, and as bizarre as it sounds, wrote 'Supersonic' in about however long it takes six guys to eat a Chinese meal."
The band recorded and mixed "Supersonic" that same night during sessions for their 1994 debut LP, Definitely Maybe. Released as a single, "Supersonic" became a minor hit in the U.S. and U.K. – and fans immediately latched onto the track, singing the lyrics during concerts.
"We'd done gigs before that and there were people coming along because they'd read about us in the press, but nobody knew any of the songs," Gallagher says. "On the day that 'Supersonic' came out – bang, the crowd were right there. And I remember people singing the lyrics to 'Supersonic.' They're singing your words back that you'd nonsensically wrote down at fucking 3:00 in the morning."
Oasis: Supersonic, directed by Mat Whitecross, will hit American theaters only on October 26th. The film blends archival footage with newly recorded interviews, as showcased in a pair of previously released trailers. "Oasis was like a Ferrari," singer Liam Gallagher declares in the first clip. "Great to look at. Great to drive. And it'll fucking spin out of control every now and again."

Oasis
Liam Gallagher has threatened he might ''f*** off forever'' if his solo album is unsuccessful.
The 43-year-old singer songwriter - who embarked on his solo career after he split from the band Oasis because of a feud with his brother Noel - has admitted he will disappear off of the music radar if his upcoming LP isn't a hit.
Speaking to the Metro newspaper, he said: ''I've done the Beady Eye thing and that didn't come off and I thought maybe I'll just have a break, but I wrote these songs, and I thought, what else can I do? This album if it does well we crack on and do another one.
''If it doesn't [laughs] I don't know what I'll do. I probably will f*** off forever but we'll see.''
Despite quitting the group seven years ago after a public spat with Noel, the rocker has admitted he would like to rekindle his relationship with his sibling because he thinks there's nothing else to do but reunite.
He explained: ''As long as you're still breathing there's always a chance. Obviously I'd like to do it 'Cos there's a f*** all else to do. In the meantime a solo record will have to do.''

Oasis
The Britpop band split in 2009, with rumours of the group reuniting circulating ever since. Last week saw bookmakers slash the odds of Oasis reforming while former guitarist Bonehead added that he'd "be there like a shot" if a reunion seemed likely.
Now bookmakers Betway have suspended all bets on a 2017 Oasis reunion. The company's Alan Alger has said of the decision: "Our traders were put on red alert after a significant number of maximum stake bets at 5/4 for Oasis to reunite in 2017 were placed. It’s a niche market to bet on, so it was immediately flagged up and the decision to suspend any further betting on the band getting back together was taken."
"If the betting activity has come from sources ‘in the know’, then it would seem we could well be on for an Oasis reunion next year. We’ll now just have to wait and see, and I’m sure there will be millions of fans with their fingers crossed!"

The Libertines
In an exclusive interview with Carl Barat of The Libertines, he talked to kulbritania.com about the likelihood of a future collaboration with Noel Gallagher and what the Manchester band meant to him.
We asked Barat that during the making of their third record there were rumours Noel Gallagher wanted to produce the album which finally never materialised we wanted to know if The Libertines would like to do something with him one day to which he replied:
"Yes, definitely. We'd like to do something with Noel. I suppose it was hard for him because we were recording in Thailand at the time. We love and respect Noel and we'd like to do something with him one day if he wants to, of course" and went on to add what Oasis meant to him when he was growing up:
"Oasis meant a lot to me. That's why I respect Noel and Oasis so much like I do because they were literally an Oasis in the middle of a lot of crap at the time. Oasis had this old school, rock n roll attitude which was great really. They were very inspiring. They were a very important band in my life for sure."
The full interview with The Libertines will be available soon.

Patsy Kensit
Liam Gallagher has backed his sons to start a band and become the next Oasis
The 44-year-old singer's 17-year-old son Lennon - Liam's child with first wife Patsy Kensit - can play guitar and has a great singing voice.
Lennon's 15-year-old half-brother Gene - whose mum is Liam's ex-wife Nicole Appleton - is a talented multi-instrumentalist and can play guitar and drums and Liam is backing them to following in his and his brother Noel's musical footsteps.
However, the 'Roll With It' hitmaker insists no matter what his kids may go on to achieve they'll never be able to match their dad's globe conquering group.
Speaking about Gene's talents at a screening for new Oasis documentary 'Supersonic', he told BANG Showbiz: "Geno's better than me man, I actually think he's a better drummer than guitarist, but as long as he's doing something creative that's OK I'm happy with that."
He added with a grin: "He and Lennon could do (start a band) if they wanted to, but they'll never be as good as Oasis!"
Proud dad Liam recently posted a photo of Gene playing guitar and pulling his best rock star pose on his Twitter account along with the words "get in there my son".
Previously discussing his sons' talents, Liam said: "I'd recommend life in a band to anyone. It's the best gig in the world, man. Gene is up in his room drumming every day. Oh, mate, he loves it. Lennon does guitar lessons and fancies himself as a bit of a singer ... Lennon's a massive Who fan. It's got nothing to do with me, he's just obsessed with 'Quadrophenia'."
Their cousins Sonny and Donavan - Noel's lads with spouse Sara Macdonald - are also being encouraged to get not music by the songwriter.
However, all the Gallagher kids rarely see each other due to Liam and Noel's ongoing feud which was sparked in 2009 when the guitarist quit Oasis.
And Noel, like Liam, wouldn't discourage his lads from starting a rock group together but he's not going to help them.
When once asked if he would advise against his sons Donovan and Sonny choosing his career path, Noel said: "No because we were f***ing great, you know what I mean. I don't know if you heard but we sold like 70 million f***ing albums. I can't teach anyone because I just kind of magicked it up. So my lad has got a drum kit in his bedroom and a guitar, I don't know what he's trying to do, both of them at the same time or something. He's also left-handed which is slightly annoying. My theory is that if we have musical instruments lying around the house then they will just pick them up. I don't say guitar lessons today from three until quarter past. If they do it they do it and if they don't they don't."

Oasis
Liam Gallagher says the Oasis documentary is so good it will give audiences "multiple orgasms".
The film - directed by Matt Whitecross - charts the rock band's incredible journey from a council estate in Manchester to global success, culminating in their two historic concerts at Knebworth in August 1996 which were witnessed by a total of 250,000 fans.
Liam says anyone who watches the film will be left in a state of ecstasy, especially if they are fans of his former group.
Speaking at a screening of 'Supersonic' at the Vue Cinema in London on Sunday night (03.10.16), he told BANG Showbiz: "I think anyone who watches it will know about Oasis, no one's going to come away and be like, 'Wow, f***ing hell.' They know what it is, I'm sure people will enjoy it if they're into the band, I'm sure some people will f***ing hate it. There's lots in it, but if you know Oasis and you're into that kind of thing you're going to have multiple orgasms ... Oasis were what we were, we were great and we were s**t at the same time. It was an emotional ride man, I think that it was rocking."
Liam, 44, and his estranged brother Noel, 49, gave hours of interviews for the project talking about all of the on stage and backstage antics of the 'Wonderwall' hitmakers - who split in 2009.
The singer admits he was shocked by how much footage there was of the band's early days because back in the 90s no one was walking around with a camera phone in their pocket to capture their antics.
He said: "There was a lot that I didn't remember, the bits that I didn't know were filmed I was like, F***ing hell!' I was pretty surprised that there was that much footage because back in them days we didn't have camera phones and all that, you know what I mean."
Although he enjoyed looking back at the early years of Oasis, Liam insists he doesn't get nostalgic for those times because every moment of his life is glorious.
The 'Songbird' songwriter said: "I did enjoy looking back at it. But I think life is glorious, every day is a f***ing glory day, whether you're making music or picking flowers. But yeah I enjoyed looking back at the band, it was incredible."
